我同你一樣, 都係好唔想讀下午班! 咁你有冇同學校申請轉上午? 其實我最想係比囡囡留番係現時讀緊o個間kinder升上去, 但我target嘅小學係St Clare, 因為我prefer的小學係全日制+女校+英小+私校/直資+有直屬band 1英中+天主教, 港島區似乎得St Clare & St Paul 附合我呢個條件. 但以st clare今年收生的人數睇, 如唔讀佢kinder, 我諗3年後外校生要考入佢小學嘅機會應該不大! 所以日日就係咁煩!今日決定讀st clare, 第二日又想留番係原校! 咁你呢? 你係old girl, 如3年後再考佢小學, 機會應該會大啲呀?

我地今天商量後都係決定比囡囡讀clares，因為一定升到小一，不用憂心到時找學校。我有寄信申請轉上午班，但上午班所有人交齊雜費，即是沒有人唔讀，所以我們無法轉上午，唯一就是等。全日制都好，唔通好似我地以前咁，如果今年咁啱是下午班，放學返到屋企都成六時至六時十五分。

我想你應該看看，佢地小一有多少班及每班有多少人，咁你咪太約知道佢會收外來小一生多少。不果佢小學係私校，佢應該收晒自己所有幼稚園才收外來生。除咗有學生放棄學位考到其他非常有名氣的學校，因為我記得有人上次問過老師，有老師答過有些學生考到更好的學校。

就係因為st clare 今年收120人, 而小學現時只得60個位, 就算到時加到3班, 即90人, 似乎到不能全數收自己的學生! 莫講話外校生啦!

有120咁多人？但得三班喎？老師比例應是1：15，是否收90人，不是１２０人？
我都看過小學得二班，死未？

聽聞今年上午加多一班, 照計應該係120人! 所以之前同其他媽媽對學校嘅疑問/唔開心就係o係呢到來!

sorry is not pretty mama, is kkmoremore  mama, as we knew that just only 1class for am, and then 2 classes for pm, but now one more am and pm......

以幼稚園計就係囉! 但小學就一定係傳統!

我考慮緊嘅傳統 vs 活動, 係以將來小學o個時計. 因為st clare 幼稚園係 prepare for 佢地嘅小學, 所以我估應該係活動中偏向傳統型嘅教法; 而我考慮緊嘅另一kinder, 佢地係一啲新思維嘅教法, 所以將來上小學個path就會係新直資o個類漸多! 所以我係諗緊想個女將來是個斯文乖巧嘅小淑女好, 定係活潑敢言嘅小女孩好啫!

等我試下明天打電話去問下先如有人返工的話，開清楚都好，之後再話給大家聽，我今日同一些朋友及同行傾過，如果你唔想煩及穩陣，就選一條龍因為不用升小一時煩死你。因為另外一間york都好，英文勁d，但就驚升小一過時，咁多九龍塘人爭學位。

我老公話比囡囡讀聖嘉勒，因為一條龍，同埋d小朋友現在較難教，傳統些少會好些。至於英文方面，就會找補習。

我上了小學網站看學的興趣班，都算多嘢學，起碼有一文一武

I CALL TO ST CLARES TODAY, JUST ONLY 2 AM CLASSES AND 2 PM CLASSES ONLY, SO IS NOT 3 PM CLASSES.  AS THEY ACCEPTED 50 APPLICANTS TO STUDY AM SESSION, AND ST CLARES CANNOT EXPECT ALL 50 APPLICANTS GO TO REGISERATION.  FOR KINDERGARTEN, 1 CLASS CANNOT OVER 30 STUDENTS, SO THAT'S WHY THEY NEED TO HAVE 1 MORE AM CLASS.  FOR THEIR INOFRMATION, JUST 2-3 PM STUDENTS CAN BE CHANGE TO AM SESSION, AND 2-3 Vacancy for the K1 students to repeat.

有無人知佢今年pm class，柴灣係咪一定有校車到呀？

因我之前問過，08-09年度，柴灣pm class係無車到，得am class有咋! 我已放棄晒其他學校，如佢pm真係無校車到我屋企，咁就弊喇，我得一個工人，仲要湊緊個初生baby!

佢咁加班法，到時係咪真係個個k生都可直升小學，真係好驚播!  

佢咁做法有似victoria，佢又係咁，係咁開分校，以前k生都可保證直升上佢小學(雖然有好多都會放棄唔讀佢小學)，但今年就轉要interview，因太多k生爭，有好多都係得waiting，唔係個個得!

我都係貪sc有得直升，同佢小學真係好好，唔洗我煩咋，但而家令到我有迷同擔心，好驚揀錯呀!

Dear foggyao,

Noted your concern and hope that I could help. We'll soon discuss with the school bus service provider on the service coverage in the next academic year and hopefully they could cover area as far as Chai Wan. They do offer bus routes from Cheung Kwan O - Taikoo Shing - IFC - School but I noted that the students from Cheung Kwan O needed to be picked up by at 6:40 a.m. in order to match the assmebling time at school. Anyway, please give us some time as we'll hold the discussion within this month and please treat this arrangement as low profile as psooible for the time being.

As for promoting from K.3 to P.1, from my understanding, the School will definitely reserve places for K.3 students and the max. no. of P.1 class the School could offer is 3 (currently is 2 with approximately 30+ students in each class). In every Sep, some K.3 students (about 10) with outstanding results or achivement will be admitted to other reptutable school such as DGS, Maymount, etc. Another fact is, even though the size of class in P.1 is 30+, the max intake can actually be as large as 35 or 40 since the current classes of P.5 and P.6 have 35+ students.

Given the above figures, i.e 40 students x 3 classes in P.1 = 30 students x 4 classes in K.3, I still consider the direct admission to P.1 from K3 is realistic and there's really no need to worry as long as you do consider that St. Clare's is your desired school for your daughter in her pre-school and primary education.

dont worry, all the K3 can be go to primary 1, before they change P1 to full-time, they seperate to am and pm session, total 5 classes.

hmmm about the school bus, you can contact mr cheng, and tel no, you can see the above.

多謝你咁詳細解答。 不過我真係估唔到，原來住港島區都會pm class無校車到，所以當初我一知道，真係嚇親，希望有個好消息啦! 如confirm，可否再話我知？等我唔洗擔心咁耐。
