請問小朋友現正讀kv或畢業生的家長

我仲1516緊俾仔仔讀kv定keep係而家間pre-school讀k1...
1) 請問你地小朋友係kv學習係點?
2) 有d人話讀kv嘅小朋友冇乜童真, 係咪真架?
3) 另外, 功課係咪真係好多?
4) d老師又係點?
5) 平時是否有需要俾小朋友係出面上d英文同普通話班?

（據我們觀察，同學之間感情不錯，見面時主動互相打招呼，有D仲好鬼馬。小朋友行為方面比較有秩序，不會在校內亂跑。對答方面也不會特別老積）
3) 另外, 功課係咪真係好多?
（K1劃線練拿筆，K2每天寫中英數單字，K3每天中英數單字＋簡單句子，算唔算多？有些手脚快的同學仔在上課時已經做了一大半，做唔晒的拿回家當功課，小朋友多寫多聽多練就會熟，就會越做越快）
4) d老師又係點?
（很關心小朋友，但不會攬著來錫，行為都比較傳統。如果你的小孩上課期間揩花了，放學時都會同你講，或者，打電話同你講）
5) 平時是否有需要俾小朋友係出面上d英文同普通話班?
（KV在K2～K3每週有中英文默書，也有普通話班。讀寫很好，但ORAL 較少。無論入咗邊間學校，有時間的話，就好都要帶小朋友出去學少少興趣班，既可學多一點，又可以見見唔同的小朋友）

另外，我的小朋友在KV讀了幾年，在我印象中學校好似沒有收過什麼雜費。。。很好。

My little one is now in KV K1 am class.

1) 請問你地小朋友係KV學習係點?
She is really happy and didn't show any sign of pressure at all.  

2) 有d人話讀kv嘅小朋友冇乜童真, 係咪真架?
I totally disagree.  She keeps singing all the songs she learnt from school everyday.
  
3) 另外, 功課係咪真係好多?
For K1 1st Term, they just are only given simple colouring and drawing line exercise, just took 10 mins to finish.

4) d老師又係點?
They are really different from what I felt during interview. They are caring to all the kids.

5) 平時是否有需要俾小朋友係出面上d英文同普通話班?
To be honest, no matter which kindergarten my kid joins, I will try to enrol her into different types of classes, bot only English and putonghua.

You can go to the school and observe if your have time :)

旅行應該沒有. 生日會是有. 10月及12月剛巧是萬聖節及聖誕節. 學生更可打扮回校參加派對. 又有攤位遊戲及禮物. 小朋友很開心.

我兒性格活潑. 但老師評語是上堂學習能好好守規矩. 但小息時又能活潑地玩. 我觀察及接觸到高年班的學生在外仍能活潑開朗, 開開心心. 小朋友始終像一個小朋友. 像我兒在家及在外仍然活潑好動, 普通一位男孩子. 沒有被校內應守的規矩及學習模式, 令他不開心, 呆板, 沒童真等等. 學校是有一套方法的. 不用擔心.

就我的小朋友和身邊的同學仔來看，他們都集中投考幾家熱門的小學如SPCC，APS，DBSPD，SPB，YW，SFA，KTS，GH等。平均擊中率約2／3。

I love KV so much and I will enrol for my daughter next year.  May I learn more from you here?

1) The nursery my daughter currently attending uses English as the only language.  May I know what language the teachers used at the KV interview?
2) Which kindergartens you also enrolled besides KV? I would like to have more practice before interviewing at KV?
3) I learnt that two teachers to interview parents and kid seperately.  Am I right?  That means we can't help at all even we sit beside the kid?
4) Which primary is your targat?  I am targeting Maryknoll

Dear Starmami,

I try to share our experience for you, I hope it will be helpful.

1) Almost of the teachers used Cantonese at the interview unless the mother language of candidate was different.

2) My child also applied St. Cat/ York/ and some other kindergartens we favourite in KLT,totally 6~7 kindergartens he interviewed. So lucky that he was accepted by all parties. Finally we chose KV because its spirit is close to us.

3) Please don't worry, that is 2 vs 2, two teachers vs the candidate with ONE parent.

4) My son is K3 now, he applied 4 private primary school only...Those are APS,DBSPD,KTS & SFA.

May I know what are the interview questions?  Do you still remember some?

Re private schools, I will also apply Good Hope, which is a very good school.  You may also consider.  

By the way, what is APS?

Hi!

According to my own memory....the examiners gave him a pictures, asked him to identify the arabic number/colour/the properties of animals,sorted out the different kind,playing toys (shape matching). Last,try to sing a song. I think most of the candidates could answer those questions correctly but his/her attitude & manner are also important.

I agree with you. GH is really a good primary school. However, this school is for girl only.

After hearing such good comments, I am now more confident with KV.  No picnic is ok, it's just once a year for all kindergarten.  For those parties, I don't think I can organize so many for him and it seems he likes these parties very much...so it's good to hear KV has it...

Where do your girl take Putonghua classes? Is it good?

My girl is attending English only school nursery and I'd like her to keep up with Chinese so she can still get into DSS primary school.

讀左n1入kv有無好處??

讀n1係有幫助,小朋友自理和語言能力好些, 除非你係全職媽媽, 而很有心機教導小朋友。
