My daughter has studied 小博士 for 5 months.  I have totally spent close to $20,000.00 because at the end of the course they will offer you some special training or I will call it "Mock Interview".  

Overall, they are professional, but, if you asked me how is the outcome for being attended in this couse.  I will say for my daughter , it is good because my daughter is a shy on new envoirnment or new comers, thus, I need to encouge her to attend this training to train her how to become more brave or how to face to new envoirment.

They taught her the skills of interview ie; How to say "Hello" to the teachers/headmaster?  How to answer questions in a polite way?  And also all the techniques to handle questions no matter verbally or by hand writing.  It is because some schools do request hand written tests.  

They also ask the kids to prepare 3-5 stories and 2-3 songs upon the interviewers' request which I think it is quite comprehensive training.

My daughter finally gets several offers from the DSS school and private school, but I think the most important is the personality of your kids herself/himself.  If she/he is a indepentant kids and can adapt any new envoirnment, I will say it is no need for them to attend this training.

That is my experience and willing to share for all of you.

Wise Studio has experienced teachers, Ms Leung and Ms Pong.  

Ms Pong is also responsible for the "Mock Interview".  Wise Studio has organized for whole HK "public" mock interview at hotels.  You may visit their website: www.cyberparents.com.hk for details of classes and mock interviews.

They have class and mock interview for parents too.

BTW, your child is boy or girl?  Target Schools??

Yes, already last year.  My child will be in P1 this September.

Wise Studio is a renowed teaching centre with good results in applying DSS / Private Schools.  I personally highly recommend their Mock Interview (at centre and at hotel - open to public).  It is very helpful for you to evaluate the performance of your "competitiors".

You may visit their website: www.cyberparents.com.hk for details of classes and mock interview (for both parents and child).  They have also Trinity Guildhall Examination - this is "speech communication" with recognized certificate from UK.

我女兒今年入小一, 去年曾參加小博士的課程，可能我女兒本身性格怪怪地，唔多理人，又不愛說話，而小博士的兩個導師對她又不大友善，結果弄巧成拙，令她對陌生人防範更大，面試時壓力大，連自己姓名都不肯答，結果除了SFA外，其餘一間都考不到，因為SFA考筆試，她沒有面對面的壓力。總之唔參加好過，價錢又貴，我們的經驗是貼錢買難受。當然，我們是很個別例子，不能完全作實，但在我大人立場，我都對兩位導師感覺不好，我小兒子就算要參加都搵過另一間。因為個女提起都仲驚。
