我想女兒可培養有禮貌, 懂得尊重別人,快樂成長. 尖沙咀聖瑪利與蔡繼有比較, 不知怎選擇. 選聖瑪利又怕女兒及家長互相迫壓, 双方都不開心. 選蔡繼有又怕太寬鬆, 達不到培育的目標. 請分享你們的心得? 萬分感謝

Though my daughter is studying in St. Mary, I am still struggling the curriculum and teaching approach between these two types of schools.  Traditional Vs Active Approach are much different indeed.

Regarding "培養有禮貌, 懂得尊重別人,快樂成長",  I can tell you that St. Mary has special ways to nurture kids very well in all these aspects.  I would give 100 marks to St. Mary in these three main points.

選擇學校校風好緊要,但只靠學校"培育有禮貌,懂得尊重別人"是不可能的,家庭的培育至少佔60-70%,否則大部份的學校都不能達到你的要求.

I agree that family plays a very important role.

However, you also can't neglect the peer influence.  If the school fixed strict guideline and rules to all the students, everybody will follow the same direction and pursue the same goal.

Moral and conduct education in St. Mary is very demanding.   My daughter is very active and talkative.  With the teachers' assistance, support and reminder, her behaviour got improved a lot.
The teachers are willing to call the parents for helping the kids together.  I appreciate this intimate action so much.

Sorry!  I don't think St. Mary is better than CKY or CKY is better than St. Mary.   We have to take many things into account say
- the kid's character and personality
- the financial situation
- the location of the school
- the connection to the University
; etc.....................
