I was not in HK on the P1 parents day on Sat. My husband did not get full details from the presentation. He was not too sure about the bit on Musical Instrument Class. Can anyone pls tell me if it is compulsory to choose one of those classes? I am not sure what to pick for my son. He is learning piano now and I am not sure if it would be too hard to manage two instruments at the same time. Can anyone please share? Thanks!

照計應該係每人都要學一樣樂器,但係就唔包括piano啦,因為學呢d樂器,將會係要入樂團用到既.
根據音樂科主任既講法,以呢班學生既質素,絕對有能力既成績優異,亦可同時學好一樣樂器既.

我諗再詳細d既,可以響聽日(a同b班),後日(c,d,e班)既揀樂器果時再詳細問啦.

Thank you Era! I asked the class teacher about it today and she said that it is not absolutely compulsory, but we may wish to consider enrolling now (P1 has priority) if we are planning to let our son learn a musical instrument in a few years time.

My son and I are actually looking at youtube for an illustration and the sound of some of the musical instruments today (allowing more time to discuss with my son what he likes). I am just not sure what percussion really includes. It looks like to be a range of musical instruments which can fall under the category of "percussion". Headache headache ... not sure how to choose.

大家好!我也是一年級的家長,不過是中一的家長了,當年我們與妳們一樣,小朋友入讀英華小學後,就開始在此分享小朋友的樂與悲,今天我們升上書院了,這裡就交給大家了,你們小朋友好似開始返適應班了,對嗎?妳們心情可能比小朋友更緊張,對嗎?希望大家在此能彼此鼓勵,彼此扶持,彼此提醒,與小朋友一起成長!加油呀!各位媽咪們!

當然係我地仲緊張過個小朋友啦.大家係咁影相,拍video,都冇停過呀.
我地亦都響度適應緊,似乎有蓋操場同埋地下都好多蚊呀,咬到好"痕".

各位小一家長好：
關於揀樂器方面，原意係幾好，一人一樂器，我都好接受，反而我覺得會否有ｄ配套做得好ｄ，
例如：學果種樂器係平日咁計，上堂既詳細時間、未上堂前點安排、最麻煩係佢地學完之後既接送安排，校車？未必理你，我地呢ｄ兩公婆都要揾食既，放咗工先可以黎接佢，真係黎到天都黑，果位負責既音樂老師講到好似好容易咁樣：[我地好多課外活動完之後，都係佢地自己安排接送，你可以揾工人湊...]咁無工人咁點??仲有住得遠(藍田)都幾頭痕，總覺得好多野太急、同唔清楚,,,,,,,,

星期一至五學樂器接放學是一大問題, 沒有校車按排接回家, 想學都唔得, 只可上星期六的.
