我想知民生係咪100%上學, 係咪100%上中學??

暫時升小及升中都應約有 80% 學生可直升, 雖不致 100%, 但基礎打得 okay 的話, 問題不太大.

民中下跌又不太明顯覺得, 每年都有不少成績非常優異既學生, 而且升回 F6 的成續據聞亦收得不錯, 校長很積極進取.

請問係唔係因為有人選擇其他學校, 所以才有80%直升, 而不是學校唔夠小一學位而收唔足幼稚園學生呢??

What do you means for "outstanding students"?  What kind of achievement did they make?  I can't see any 10A/9A/8A/7A students from this school?

Yes, that  what I worry of, the info provided fr. school show that the best is around 6A only.
I'm considering whether to let my gifrl to go into 09 K1, if the sec. school is not that good, if it worth to go into it?

我還未發現兒子有能力考7A或更好成績。能入讀民生已是一個很好的選擇。

The Chinese reply is from my husband.  If MC students can all achieved 6As in CE, they are all very good.  Even students from PC are not all accepted by universities.

However, we need to know about the average achievement of all students and standard deviation of all students.  My son will not be the number one and he probably is the average, that why I want to know the performance of the average.

I know many parents would like to send their children to some famous kgs and expect their kids to be accepted by some famous primary/sec schools?  I'm just wondering these kg students are to be accepted by band 1 school.  Do you want to take the risk?

今年有一個9A, 據知每年也有學生可以從 "Early entry Scheme" 入大學.

民小要交學費，每年都有幼稚園學生派出去好正常。高小每年都有人「人望高處」，叻既走少少；最差既應該走晒。
正因為「叻既走少少」，所以會考相應有時唔夠好。其實間間學校都差不多，你個小朋友叻，會考就會好。唔會因為你入左間名校，你就會叻。皇仁都有人會考肥佬，最緊要自求多福。
民生學生報會考最多正常係8科，讀第9科要自修，今年有個9A已經好難得；仲有「個」高考入左醫科，你可以話得「一個咋」既。其實我對民生都有少少微言,但整體尚算合格。

I would like to know more comment about this school.  You seem to have something want to say but it is not convenience to say on the forum.  You can pm to me.  I want to think very clear before I send my son this school.  Thanks.

去年考到9A的同学有两位。听小学部老师讲民中的预科毕业生在外面都好competitive的。

你還有沒有其它私校在手作比較？

民生小學要交學費，中學不用交學費跟派位制度。
校規好嚴，欠交4次功課就記一個缺點，三缺一小過 ........ 係好傳统到好傳统的學校。

但係而家有改過自新既計劃,
所以如果學生肯改(EG.小D遲到/小D欠交功課等),都唔會咁易有缺點!
都唔係食古不化姐..

其實很早就係咁, 一段時間內會重新計算, 問題唔係咁大.

07年HKCEE 5A , 有不少學生 有數條A.
堂弟已經不算最最叻果個..
