有冇人放棄 RC,吾去交留位费？

Because my boy is on waiting list. I just want to know if I have a chance, since RC is my first choice. I called the school they said they will let me know by June. Does anyone know anything I can do right now?

I know the school can only know how many students they got after the lucky draw and they will never tell how many waiting list they offered. Maybe I will call them next week to check again.

You can try to send the application letter (may be more then one letter can be sent) to RC.  Let she know you are looking for her offer.  Cheers!

I will give up RC as I got admission to Wah Yan. But I also do think RC is a good school. Good luck.

Don't worry, you have at least one place from my son.  We have decided to let him go to Wah Yan and we have not registered for RC today.

Wish you can get a place for your boy.

My daughter is also on waiting list of RC. Yesterday (28/11), a call was made to school and got a disappointing reply that their seats were still full and no vacancy at the moment. They would inform those on waiting list by June when vacancy arises.

Can any existing RC parent(s) share the experince of having kids on waiting list first but finally got accepted by RC ? Is the chance high or low ?

You may write the leter to the Principal by hand to show your appreciaton, trust it would work out finally.

hi Jojo,

On the registration day, RC advised that they will arrange only 2 classes with girls. I called the school this morning to see how many girls have registered. RC informed that most probably they will have more than 2 classes with girls as more girls have registered than they expected.

I also believe a letter to RC’s head teacher to show your sincerity should be very useful. At least your girl will be placed on the top waiting lists.

小女放棄咗,報咗st francis因為了細女方便

This is the case just like last year. Even though some parents replied on BK that they gave up the seats, however when u called the school, they still said they are full. I think they don't  want to call the waiting list twice (now and after the lucky draw). Not like other school will call the waiting list after the registration day. Poor us, need to wait and wait.......
