Hi all,
Glad to see someone created this topic, I have spent almost 3 hours go through all the discussion here, thanks for all the useful tips.
My daughter will be P1 student too (by the big lucky draw not by first round as we only got 15 marks).
She is non-HYK. We lived in Sai Kung, so have to take "Po Mo" car, also afraid she will have not enough sleep. And also worry about how she can carry such a heavy school bag in the future. But doesn't matter la, all kids are like that when going to P1, so the others kids can = our daughters can. So just relax and enjoy this year long summer vacation with our daughters and prepare for the next step of their study life. Good to meet you all and hope we can have close contact in the future. I won't because I also called the school and asked and the reply is we can't bring with our kid. Besides, my daughter has to attend different courses on Sat morning, so I will just go by myself. Looking forward to meeting you all.

Safarimama 說的很正確.

如沒有記錯的話, 教育局當年要學校在2012或以前決定是否接龍, 即2012是最後限期, 在限期前入讀的小一生是不受影響的. 而校長以前都講過協恩也不偏向轉直資, 致於是否接龍也未決定.

我是K1家長，我想了解點解校長說結龍好難呢？

唔結龍，又唔轉直資，咁小學要與中學完全脫離關係了, So sad!

接龍的話, 不論學生的成績如何, 中學也要全數接收小學部的學生, 這樣一來, 或會影響中學部的成績(即banding). 正因如此, 所以小學部的程度也比以前深了, 希望可以儘量達到中學部的要求.

至於轉直資, 學校唔想有學生因為經濟問題而不能在協恩讀書, 所以不偏向轉制.

你地去左工商開戶口未? 後先諗住開戶, 點知原來每月要KEEP住有$5000, 如果唔係要比手續費$50! 即是為左每月AUTOPAY$300, 要比工商脅持我$5000 6年?! 你們是否一樣? 還是我太耐無開新戶口, 間間都係一樣呢?

根據經驗, 只要你帶埋學校自動轉賬的表格去開戶, 他們就知道這是交學費用的戶口, 就可豁免.

剛才開了, 原來開戶必須要有$5000, 到成功auto pay後再通知銀行是交學費的戶口, 便可以不須保持最低存款限額! 唉! 今時今日, 真係少個崩都開唔到學.....

in fact I still don't understand why doing the autopay has to open a bank a/c in ICBC, instead it should be as long as you fill in all the relevant information in the autopay slip and pass to your own bank for processing, it should still work

啊 ! 原來現在的程序跟以前不同了, 3年前開戶時一併交埋autopay表格, 就不須先存入$5000大元的啊 !

那麼, 如果交不出$5000的怎麼辦 ???? 唉.....

called the school and asked about this already, the only answer is this is the "school policy" for long time, if anyone has question, just write a letter to the principal, as long as the principal allow, you don't need to open a bank account in ICBC. What a "GOOD" school policy!!!
校規唔係去規定學生的言行品德,而係去規定家長一定要在ICBC開户口架咩??
