Quite agreed
But the Heep Yan School only offered 3 classes while Good Hope School offered 5 classess.
That meant that it was more easy to get the place in GHS than HYS.

Bothl are the same.
True Light (kowloon) is a little bit far from the two academic performances.

早年,有人Post過會考優良比率,協恩都排在 上智、MCS和
St. Mary 之後,再加上 DGS、男校及島學校,協恩應在十大之後。

協恩的優點是文武雙全,很多學術以外的項目都拿獎。

For overall academic or HKCEE results, Good Hope is generally better than HY, especially English. Good Hope is one of the best in English in HK(regardless International schools).

For rates to university, it is meaningless. These kinds of band 1 EMI usually have near 100% rates to universities. But which universities and which faculties count. I believe Good Hope was better.

Having said that, some brilliant girls in Good Hope transferred to other top schools (e.g. MCS or St Mary etc) before graduation, that makes Good Hope HKCEE results worse than expected.

For sports, Good Hope and HY are similar. Both are main enemies of DGS.

For music, definitely HY has better performance.

For debate, HY is slightly better, esp in Chinese.

For arts like dancing and visual art, HY is very famous and should be better.

Please correct me if I am wrong.

多謝你的資料. 咁如果我比較著重學術, 而只計小學,那間會好些? 請指教!
但其實HY都唔係話想讀就有得讀或有得考, 只靠運氣! 暫時可以比我揀的私校只有GH, SFA & 蘇浙...其他未知!

For academic, I guess the ranking is GH = SFA > APS > 蘇浙 > HY

SFA & Good Hope Primary school push their pupils more and their academic levels are higher than Heep Yan 1 to 2 years in general.
However, the best SFA & Good hoper will be accepted to the other top secondary schools after P6.  
So, Good Hope primary > Heep Yan primary, but Heep Yan Secondary and  Good Hope secondary are at the same rank.
