有無人上過維多利亞君匯港的playgroup？有人話佢地個playgroup好無聊，無野學。係唔係呀？

My son is joining playgroup now, and I just want him to have fun and develop his interpersonal skill.  He like to go to playgroup and like Ms Tong very much.

我b有返另外一間幼稚園playgroup, 佢地每個月有明確既教導主題, 例如顏色, 形狀;我的身體.....

Victoria唔係咁著重知識性既學習, 例如上月主題係感官, 佢會放出沙漏, 水樽, ....等比bb探索.  我親自參與過其中一堂, 英文老師攞出一個大冰塊, 叫小朋友摸, 跟住對佢講"cold".  我bb摸了幾次之後都跟住講"cold", 好得意.  個堂又用沙做手工, 比bb機會接觸泥沙.

係知識性既角度, 你可以話Victoria"無野學", 若係培養小朋友探知精神角度, 我覺得佢好好.  (我好討厭一d凡事有model answer, 做每件事都要小朋友folloｗ一定程序既學校, 小朋友不明所以, 就會以後只跟大人標準做事, 無晒創意同主見.)

我做野既地方, 有碩士生, 博士生, 你真係會見到一d讀書成績好好, 但係個腦唔識轉彎, 無獨立思考能力既人.  去到研究院呢個階段, 當然高下立見.

bb係香港讀書, 若果想保持佢既創意同獨立思考既能力, 國際學校似乎是唯一既選擇.  

但係國際學校真係好貴!  唉!

Victoria: Two days (Tue, Thur)
My baby also join Cannan playgroup (Mon, Wed, Thur).
And, I recently add Best Concept (a Montessori playgroup) in the afternoon.

To me, each playgroup serves different purposes:
Cannan - traditional teaching
Victoria - self-exploration, english and cantonese environment
Best Concept - self-discipline, Mandarin and English environment

Thanks for sharing. I've checked out on web Best Concept  starts from 2yr old.  How old is your baby?  
my bb will enroll at Victoria HG and she is now studying at TT as well.    Don't know if i should drop TT

Best Concept now accepts baby as small as 1.5 yr old but it's very strict on the issue of separation.  That mean, you have to say goodbye to your baby once it enters the classroom.  So, you have to decide whether your baby is suitable to be separated from you/your maid for 2 hours during the school period when it is just 1.5 yr old.  My baby had been crying non-stop during school time for 10 days and had nightmares at night screaming "姐姐, 要姐姐".  It was a big struggle to me whether my baby should continue the playgroup.  Fortunately, when I was about to quit, my baby stops crying at school.

I heard people say TT is good as well.  If there is no time crash, let your baby attend both for a month and then decide which one is better.

我個囡都係v記上緊playgroup, 非常同意你0既viewpoint, 我個囡舊年10月開始逢星期六返harbour green, 返0左0甘耐, 都見到好多小朋友上0左一個月就唔見0左... 流動性係好多...

但係我都係同你viewpoint 一樣, 究竟想個小朋友番playgroup 學到0的咩...

如果你想小朋友上完victoria 之後, 一年學到300個vocab, victoria is definitley not your cup of tea...　去ｖ記只會浪費金錢同時間．．．．

但係點解我個囡會讀0左0甘耐, 因為我好buy 佢0地0既 concept, learn from explore...

小朋友要每樣事件都要由自己去explore, 先至會刻骨銘心... learn from experience 係最好0既方法.

就算小朋友係好active, victoria 0既老師唔會覺得佢係有問題... 佢0地好明白, 小朋友0既concentration 係唔可能keep 得好耐, 所以有小朋友聽聽0下story 走0左去, 佢0地係好understand 0既... as long as 佢0地唔disturb 人就ok.

反之traditional school 就會話佢0地唔0岩...

另外, 佢0地0地0既hygiene standard, 我0地係最buy 0既... 你要個小朋友番到學校唔好0甘近接觸, 基本上係無咩可能.

反而, 盡量maintain 學校0既hygiene level 係最緊要... 同個囡返學, 我都唔駛擔心佢比 人傳染... 呢樣野已經放鬆好多...
