Assuming that you are 25 years old now (same as Alan Tam),
35 years later means 60 years old.

Just the right timing to retire by that time and enjoy the rest of your li ...

flostangraphy,

To be very honest with you, you look much younger than your actual age!!

Don’t worry!
No need to spend any unnecessary money on buying face cream!

As you are a person with a sense of humour and with a smiling face all the time, I think it will take ages for you to look like 60 years old!

Still a long way to go!

flostangraphy,

I think you do not need to be too stressed at this moment.

One thing you should think over very thoroughly now is whether you would like your son to apply under the French stream or the Chinese stream?
In your case, there are both pros and cons for either option.

The first interview will only be conducted in October so you and your son can be relaxed for the time being.

flostangraphy,

But this is the fundamental question that you have to face it even before your submit your application!!

Besides consulting with your wife, I think you may also need to ask your son how much he likes to study Chinese language when compared to French?

Even when parents have some ideas in mind, it will be him who has to go through the 6-year primary school life shortly, not to mention the secondary school life for the time being.

BTW, we start to feel your stress as well because you seldom pop up so late in the evening!!
Normally, you make very good use of the time during the office hours!!

flostangraphy,

Looks like your family discussion is fiercer than the upcoming 2 rounds of interview for your son.

Good luck.

BTW, why do you have “to fight with the tiger tonight”??

flostangraphy,

Didn’t get you!!

"comment allez vous" means “您好嗎”.

How can you correlate “mystic and funky” to

Would you mind to elaborate a bit more for our better understanding??

i wanted to be mystic and funky....
but seems doesn't really work...
my colleagues always say “今晚打老虎” instead of "how are you" when they see me.
for them, it means "you are french, but you are chinese too", because no french understands “今晚打老虎” means "comment allez vous"...

I hope I look like 35 but my husband looks like 60+.  Man looks young will give wife a hard feeling. That's why I stop my husband to use my expensive face creams.  He is allowed to use OLAY only.

flostangraphy,

Got it now.

What you mean is that your colleagues greet you by saying 今晚打老虎” in Cantonese and it sounds like "comment allez vous" pronounced in French !

Right??

TINGMUM,

Yes, your concern is basically valid and your tactic is clever.

However, “mature/stable men” might also attract another group of target.
Even without using quality face cream, the wrinkles on their forehead/face symbolize their adequate experience in life as well as their maturity and stability!

Hope my comments will not aggravate your worry!

If yes, let me apologize to you in advance!

The trouble is that I always look at things from different perspectives!

HI flostangraphy,
