1. 約克英文小學暨幼稚園是否一間好出名的學校?
2. 如果係的話,在那方面?
3. 比較根德園,國際英文幼稚園,浸會大學附屬幼稚園,邊間好啲?

1. 約克英文小學暨幼稚園是否一間好出名的學校? 係
2. 如果係的話,在那方面?平
3. 比較根德園,國際英文幼稚園,浸會大學附屬幼稚園,邊間好啲梗係york好啦. 根德只著重中文同數學, 同太著重小朋友的紀律, 唔夠活動.  國際英文係出名英文, 不果同york比, 梗係york 好啦. 至於浸會大學附屬幼稚園, 可能太淺.

講到尾, york好野, york 萬歲

係呀. 好難入架, 從未聽過有人考到入去tim . 間校學實行有教無類, 妳比多多$佢都唔收架.

We had the interview with York last Sat. I only attended half of the principal talk and left. I just realized that they have given me a paper to sign if I have attended the talk. If I didn't return the paper, will that mean my son can't be admitted even though he did well in the interview? Any mom has similar experience to share?

My friend's daughter is studying there and she is satisfied with the school. Somehow I also found bad comments about this school here. Based on that interview day, I felt a little bit unorganized there, parents and kids everywhere and didn't know when was our turn for interview,etc.

For the talk, it was quite "boring" in the beginning, talked about the DSS primary system, and haven't started to talk about things relating to the kinder itself. May be I didn't stay long enough to hear more details....

mountainview, i think trust ur friend better, they know the real suitation. In the very first begining i visited this website, i was also misleaded by someone's irresponsible post and got a bit worry. However, when i gone thur more post, i just discover nothing but a manic guy always yelling. So do ask ur friend's comments; may be asking what teaching material what they get, u will know more. And also pls notify us.

In BK, ppl always said st cat good KV good,  york expensive bababa.  But i can only find many york's parent's comments and input (no matter good or bad). I seldom find detailed SC and KV's detail input. And i just got no idea how good it is.(ps.  it is netural, dont hit me haha) So it is a but strange.

It make me think that in over AV  forum site, ppl recommed which gear is good and ppl just rush to buy.

Afterall, it still have time to chose

True, I have came across many different people here, some are real moms, some are just advertisers to say good on self and bad on competititors etc. I guess we need to be careful to pick what we want to know and believe it or not. Afterall, I do meet some very helpful moms who gave me many valuable info too.

Anyway, I think no school is perfect and each school fits different children personality. My husband's colleague son is studying in KV, he loves it because it is a very discipline school, and focus on traditional way of teaching. I also know a teacher teaching in SC for over 10+ years, she gave me a comment that SC is between traditional and pure international. Since my son is active type, I personally prefer SC to KV.  I am still doing more research on others like York,etc.

請問11月1日interview完,佢話要等兩個星期會收到取綠信,但有人話比我聴,如果11月7日前都收唔到信就應該唔收,是否真的?

其實interview內容都係一般考小朋友的問題,都冇乜特別!

我記得好似無問到, 只係問左叫咩名, 幾多歲, 邊個同你黎, 坐咩交通工具...5官, 數字等等....不過其他學校都有問
唔夠一星期已收到信, 收左了

Hmm, yours sound harder than ours. He was asked about some cars, spoon, fork, comb, etc. She wanted to do puzzle, but my son didn't like to do it and kept asking for the car again. And we didn't return the seminar receipt. I bet he is not accepted as he is small boy too. BTW, we interviewed on Nov 1 also.
