Long School Hours

Logos seems to have longer school hours than other schools.

Any reason for this arragement? Does it include after school activities?

This is the part that I do not understand too......how does Logos 11 years fit into the 334 new education system?

Any Logos parents have more information?

yes...the school hours include one 2 hour session of extra-curriculum activity.

each lesson is 45 min + at least 5 min recess between lessons....may be this arrangement is more suitable for the teaching methods in Logos. As far as I understand, the lessons are enriched with a lot of interesting activities ( I can understand it when I see my kid's class activity worksheets). I guess these activities, which greatly enhanced the joy of learning, would be difficult to implement if the lesson is short.

Which year is your child studying at?
Does he/she enjoy the school life?

Sorry to ask so many questions but my kid is going to their P1 next year.

my kid is in FS1, i.e. P.1

He's enjoying most of the lessons....he sometimes talks about the lessons in much enthusiasm...., but I think he's still adapting to the teaching....like he's not totally accustom to English speaking in English classes.
