English Adventures- anyone tried? Good or not?

Wanna arrange more playgroup for my son.  Anyone tried the English Adventures playgroup in Tsing Yi?  Any good?  Any bad?

Its really ok if you live in tsing yi ...... nice teacher and nice environment

quite good, resonable price for Eng and PTH class. Teachers are nice. However, if you are very 'clean', your bb should take a bath right after the lesson as they have session doing some art or sometimes playing with sand.

first of all, the following is solely my point of view!

I did join the english adventures simply because of "good" reputation on baby kingdom forum......

however, disappointing! Maybe I've joined two similar english playgroups before english adventures.... the problems are :

1. not structured at all though there is  time for painting, singing and story-telling

2. the stories and songs told and sung are too difficult for 1 years old kid

3. free play time is too long --> my daughter just walked round and round to look for toys without guidance

4. miss cara has to take care of her two children sometimes as they are present during lessons,

I've withdrawn the english playgroup at hunghom and took english adventures ----> a big mistake

i'm sorry you not happy. please talk to miss cara, she will try to help you.

i know sometime her children come. it can be difficult for her and for the other parent. she do try to control them and they not always there.

for the other thing, talk to her. she is always happy to try to help.

she does things not the chinese style with everything under the control. more western style for the children to explore and try things on their own. i see that she always try to include each child.

for the story/songs... my baby go there for many month already and knows many of them. some are more difficult some are more easy.

again, if you are not happy, talk to miss cara, she will refund to you if you want $ back.

she does not want not happy mummys and daddys.

thanks for your kind reply. By the way, may be due to Sunday classes, her kids are always there. Maybe I had experience in other playgroups, and so do a comparison between English Adventures and others. I would not tell Ms. Cara about my feelings, I will try to complete for a month and then decide to continue or not!

sorry to learn about your experience   being a mother, we always want to get the best for the kids.

my son started his class with Eng Adv since he was 1 year old.  at that time, he will not sit down and listen and only walk around, explore by himself but I found ~~ he is happy!

I agreed with you some words that they teach are too difficult to learn by a 1 year old bb. but my personal opinion is : playgroup is just a place for me and bb play and getting to know more about what is his way of learning.  now, we attended the class for 5 months and my son is still walking around .  but I am sure he is learning day by day
