各位媽咪:loveliness: ,

我同老公帶囡囡尋日下午三點去左面試, 原來要行上學校四樓面見, 尋日天氣好熱, 廿三十個家長已經坐係走廊等緊, 得兩部風扇, 媽咪請著少啲衫..  

首先囡囡入班房玩玩具(同老師玩)和睇圖書, 問圖書嘅問題, 囡囡本書係有 "小鴨小兔"...最後問下問題,例如: 你個名? 學校名 ? 頭先點樣嚟面試 ? 放學係屋企做咩? ...

尋日中途有個細路女crying走出嚟, 老師同佢媽咪講, 等一陣無事可以入番去~~唔知係裡面發生咩事:(

家長要係走廊等一小時, 記得帶定支水去...

Fully understand and thank you so
much for sharing yr experience to us.

My girl told me that she was interviewed by the vice principal and only ask her 3 questions, playing cards
on the floor (with carpet) and story telling before playing legos, magnet toys and read story. She said the room
is big and very comfortable. She see the book shelf at the room end.

The questions are very simple and she likes there. She went inside around 12:55 and it was 2:20 when she came out.

May I best wishes all of you have 2nd interview.

Agree with BillieBug.

Recall my memories ... we also had to wait for >3 hours before getting into the interview room during 2nd interview 2 years ago.

When Ms Lee saw my kid (he wore a big smile on his face at that time cos it's finally his turn and I played IQ quiz/joke with him before), she nodded and said,"Wow, you can still smile so sweet and bright after waiting for such a long time.. Very good! ". Then we made it!

So patience may be one of the clues.

Believe it or not, the principal at the end of the interview touched the head of my kid and said to him "It's really something of you to have waited patiently for so long a time (in Chinese)!" Yes, patience is one of the keys to success, I believe.

仲有，第二次面試時，如果校長問得你愈少問題係愈好，即係佢都心中有數，所以大家去2 nd in時，如校長只問你一兩句，跟住就問番你有乜問題關於學校想問的，咁可以話係恭喜你，你獲選機會好高。

I had an interview today and the process is very smooth.  The interview is about 45 - 60 mins.

Your kid stayed inside the interview room for more than 1 hour?! I believe your kid have a pretty good chance to enter the 2nd round!!

呀, 我都係住新界, 如果我真係咁好彩有2nd round見, 而校長又問的呢條問題的話, 我都會一樣咁答, 因為我真係會打算搬(如學校真係收小朋友的話).  咁點答先安全呀?

住九龍同新界既朋友,要諗清楚先好答呀!
我朋友的同事住沙田,她答:"如果考得到,咪會搬近d囉!!"

學校有lift搭的.仲係唔駛等好耐,幾快tim,所以唔駛行樓梯.

我女只逗留50mins,唔知算唔算短?

佢同另一位女仔差唔多時間出來,相差一分鐘都唔駛.唔知搞邊科.

我女仲話無先生問佢問題,只有校長一個問哂.在waiting見校長前,有些小朋友一起等,但係佢地好似百無了賴,因有一小朋友在玩緊窗口的窗簾,唔似有先生同佢地玩緊.

其實照實際情況答就得。有學生住到好遠，六點上校車，學校其實唔expect你搬，好多時咁樣問，係因為住九龍區的人，如同時間db or dg都收的話，都會因地點問題而放棄spcc，我當時就答能有機會入到好學校，地點不是問題，因我住九龍小朋友亦安排了很多課外活動在香港區學，多年來早已習慣。而我補充說，有司機及自己會陪小朋友番學，在途中會利用時間講下故事咁。而校長亦馬上說，即使冇私家車亦有校巴在九龍區接送，可見她其實不介意你住邊區，只擔心住九龍的最終如db/dg都收家長會點揀！

I still have not rec'd any int letter yet? Really don't understand why the school has to deliver the letters in lots? How can we as parents apply for leave so quickly?

Finally, I got the letter. Interview 2/Oct, received letter on 26/Sept.

That's one of their test? to test how you have 決心 to let your child to study in SPCC.

You should show them your commitment.  Otherwise.....

Hi Billebug,

I'm expecting too though the tution fee
is really something. I'm getting stressful because my son is about to
submit the F.1 (1st round application) soon. My family is full of challenges this year.

I bless them and leave all to the Lord for anything beyond my hands.

Hi Heart,

Yes trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding. In all your ways acknowledge Him and He shall direct your path. (Proverbs 3:5-6)

Have faith in Him to give you and your kids the best, and let Him take control... :)

I have read a number of your posts under this topic.  I got a feeling that no matter which school your girl is studying, she still will be a bright girl coz she got a good father and mother. ^^

My son has not received the interview letter from school.  I will wait 2 more days.

The posts of you and Heart remind me that Lord holds our hands and we should have trust in HIM.

Wish our Lord gives your daughter the most appropriate school to her.
