Did all of you submitted photos with CD?
I went to the school (CWB) to submit them to the admin. office (temporairily located on 1st floor) in person last Tue.  
Renovation was still in progress, very messy on 2nd floor...
However, surprisingly yesterday a school staff called my husband and asked for the photos ???!!!
and then my husband told her that I had already submitted them last week and the staff said that she would check again
A little bit disappointed... why the administration seemed to be a little bit 'messy', not fit the image of LLC, which should be well-organized !
And anybody had read the English version of last notice from school about request for the English names of students ?
The English standard is not good...don't know whether the notice has been cleared by the foreigner teacher of the school before issuing.

The above two issues really disappointed me a little bit.  Hope they will have some improvement in future.

I also notice the administration of LLC is a bit 'messy'.  I understand that it is life that we cannot always make both ends meets.  It is natural that when one is pationate, he/she is less organized and logical... Well, this is my own belief only.  After all, that was why LLC got the Govt award in education, not school adminstration.  But I could bear with it.    Just like my attitude to my maid.  As long as my maid is taking care of my child whole heartedly with love, I do not mind that the house is a bit messy.  When she needs to spend her time playing with my daughter, she of course will have less time to care for the house.  I personally is minding the software more than the hardware.

Tks for your reply and I agree with you that a school's software would be more important than the hardware.
And today I rec'd a call from a teacher of the school, reminded me that 1 Sept. would be the 1st day.

The reminder was really lovely though I think no parents would forget this 'big' day for the kids.

And the teacher's voice is so gentle and cheerful, for which I believe my son would like the teachers in LLC.

有Ｄ擔心，昨天陪囝囝去廁所的時候，因有小朋友不懂自己除褲小便，同嬸嬸講，(當時唔知小朋友的傭人去左邊)，個嬸嬸竟然叫他自己攪店，一Ｄ都冇幫他，於是小朋友cry，最後都是由小朋友的傭人幫他去廁所，我真難想像點解會有這樣的情况出現？他們只返學２天，不一定個個小朋友都懂自己攪店，我同意小朋友要學習自我照顧，但都要一步一步來，點解嬸嬸袖手旁觀。

希望以上的事，不要影响你們對學校的觀感，因為它真是一所好學校，我寫出上述的事是由於我十分擔心囝囝甚麽也不懂自我照顧，又要自己搭校車。

所以這２天我已開始訓練囝囝自己除褲去厠所。

你們有冇comments呢？

囡囡讀 K1 時, 剛開始時嬸嬸或者老師都會幫忙的, 但慢慢地學校就會訓練他們自己做--- 不只去洗手間, 還包括收拾玩具/餐具, 自己穿鞋/ 外套, 自己交通告/手冊...
經過一年的學校生活, 可十分明顯地發現囡囡的進步和轉變呢. 今天學校內聯網就可用了, 家長如有任何疑問, 我想可在內聯網向學校建議和反應, 我們也可在網上聊天    
親子旅遊我們一家應會參加 (還沒交表), 去年我們也去了, 感覺很好, 所以今年也打算再參加

Did u see the price they charge for the school trip to Poon Yu?  $1,290 for adult & $8xx for children for 2d/1n.  I think it is rather expensive.  Last year it costed us $6xx for each adult (staying at Cheong Loong Hotel) in mid-Autumn festival!  Even if I factor in the costs of some teachers who go with us, it should not be double the cost right?
