DGS Reading List

I noticed that many parents are very keen on getting a DGS reading list.

My daughter is a DGS girl. Actually, there is no reading list for the girls till F.1. Parents buy books or borrow books from the public libraries according to their girls' level. Even if there is a reading list, it may not suit your child. I think the most important thing is to foster your child's interest in reading.  Bring her/him to the bookstore or library as often as possible. For my daughter, I started reading with her when she was in K1. DGJS also plays a very important role by having library lessons every week. Now, she's in secondary school and still loves reading very much. Her interest in reading does help her a lot in understanding the lessons. Some of her classmates, who are not from DGJS, take twice or thrice of her time to revise Literature in English but still fail. I am not saying that all DGJS girls are good at English and non-DGJS girls are not because there are quite a number of exceptions. What I mean is that READING A LOT DOES MAKE A DIFFERENCE.
