What happened to Ms. Chow? How come there are no Chinese homework for a few days already? I'm worried about their Chinese level coz it's not easy to pick up chinese in P.1. Also, how come there is no more floating teachers if the teacher is absent.

Not sure but I did see Miss Chow the other day.  And, you have a point.  What we can do now is to have our kid read more Chinese book & maybe more Chinese handwriting at home.

On Tues, even Ms. chow was at school, according to Preston, she was not teaching them. Preston said she was busy doing something else at school and not in class. She did not have enough patience to kids. As far as I know, a lot of parents are not satisfied with her.

Really ?!  That serious ?!  Then, we have to wait for the input from bblaw.  Fortunately, Mr Creamer has been good.  He has taught quite many new things.

I'm really worried about our kids this year. Both teachers are not as good as we expect. Although Mr. Creamer is a bit better and teaching the kids stuff, he needs a good partner to do the job. Like today, Preston is reading the same English book for the 3rd week(I wrote a note to Mr. Creamer and he did not read it and Preston's reading report from last week was still in the bag) and this book Preston had read it 3 times last year as well which I had mentioned to Mr. Creamer.
As for Ms. Chow, Hei Hei's mom also not satisfied with her. She doesn't know the personality of each kid and uses wrong way to communicate with the kids. It's very crucial this time of the year, not to discourage the kids as they need to go for interviews. It's a lot to write here, but we have to keep a very close eye on this issue and may take some actions if things got worse.

The same English books that Ka ka read  two weeks. Preston saying is same with ka ka and I agree with Hei hei mons opinion

Well, I also notice that Davin reads one English book for the 3rd week.  Is it done on purpose ?  That book has got a lot of text in fact.

I don't know if this is done on purpose but even the reading report from last week was still in his bag. Maybe the teachers were too busy.

I talked to the other parents this morning & I can conclude that at least one book is chosen by the school & the kids have to read that book for at least 3 weeks.  All of us received worksheet of that book in the 2nd & 3rd week.

Dear mon,
Today. Miss Chau and Mr Creamer reply me. They said the same story book gave for 4 weeks . It can let the children recognize more volcabulary. I request Mr Creamer drop dowm the guideline for parents and hope this can help the parents.   Don't be worry. If U have any problem, u can contact him.

Mr. Creamer did call me today & tried to explain the reading scheme.  I guess he called everyone.

Everyone, did you send mail to APS for application form ?  I did so but so far haven't received anything.
