Please share what's happened ? Seems serious.... Be honest, my girl is OK with Miss Chau but I like her K1 & K2 teachers better...

BTW, can anyone tell me if the "筆順簿" can be kept at home or need to take to school every day ? I have left a message in the handbook but don't have any reply from Miss Chau for almost 2 weeks.....

I have the same question about the book too. I just put in his bag every day, not sure if need to bring?!

When is your interview time for Ying Wah? Which other schools are you interested and will go for briefing sessions? There are a few coming up, just want to know if you will go.

I asked Davin if they needed to use that 筆順簿 at school & he said they didn't use that book.  Perhaps it's for use by the parents & the kids at home.

I'm not sure if all the schools I intend to apply do have briefing sessions.  Can you share ?  Will DBS hold a session on Sept 13 ?  Do we need to register ?

How about Alliance Primary School ?  I didn't hear that there will be briefing session.  Do we just send mail & get application letter ?

yes, there is a briefing session on 13/9 at 9:30 and 11:30. Will you go and what session? Also, when is the interview time for Ying Wah?

Forgot to tell you the interview time for Ying Wah - Sept 20, 8:30 - 9:30am.  Very early !  As for DBS briefing, do we need to enrol ?  If there are 2 sessions, I intend to go for the one at 9:30 as I think there may be less audience.  How about you ?

It's good that you go on the last day so you can get more info beforehand.
You don't need to enrol for the DBS briefing session, but I guess there will be a lot of people.

I don't think APS will arrange briefing session for parents. You can simply send a stamped envelope to the school and obtain an application form. F.Y.I.: they need to process more than 2000 applications every year and the number of P1 seats is about 160 (1/3 will be reserved for the graduates from Alliance Kindergarten). The competition is very keen and I don't think my little girl is lucky enough to get a seat....worry...

Thanks for the info.  I could also check the details from DBS website.  For sure, there will be a lot of people.  That's why I intend to go in the 1st session.  Will bring Davin also to take a look at the school.

Thanks for the info.  I guess for better schools, they receive at least 1500 applications each year.  Yet, the worse thing is that 1/3 seats are reserved for kinder.  Can't help but have to give it a try.

Maybe it's not a good idea to bring Davin, coz there will be a lot of people and the briefing session will last for 1 1/2 hour plus the waiting time, the whole time maybe more than 2 hours. It may be too long for Davin. However, it's good to bring the kid to look at the school first.

What did you kids bring for 'time on stage' today for the 1st time? Preston did not want to do this in the beginning but he ended up bringing a story book.

Preston will have Ying Wah interview tmr, a bit anxious (myself).:-|

I've already planned a few things for show time.  Yet, it turned out that they didn't have time for showtime.

Have you seen the memo from the school website about the schools that K3 2008 graduates go to.  It can be a good reference for us.

Lydia, if I remember from what I read, there's only 1 kid going to DBS & just a few kids to Ying Wah (less than 10 ?).

I am sorry . I am very busy to the P1 interview. I agree with Hei Ching APS is a good school. The school is very large.
