Davin seemed to enjoy every interview.  Yet, he didn't ask me the result.

In fact, Davin woke up early this morning as I told him last night that we had to go for interview early in the morning.

Could Preston recall something about the interview at DBS ?  Davin couldn't tell me anything except watching the movie Shrek.

Preston did not want to tell me either. Only told me there was a part about reaarange pictures to make a story, made 2 words that began with letter 'c', reading Chinese words and what did you do at school....and played toys in the 1st room. He said all in Chinese, no putongua or english. He didn't like to tell much, although I know he knows. Maybe like us when we finished exams, just didn't want to mention anymore coz it's over.

you're right. hei ching's mom said class size of APS would be 40.  too many applicants that the school couldn't reduce the class size she said.

Were you on duty yesterday and did not see you at the birthday party? Ka Ka and Preston kissed each yesterday. I told Preston not to do so, only hugging and holding hands is allowed.

I hope there is some good news b4 6/12, so I don't need to attend the APS interview and can go to the school picnic. Keep our fingers crossed.

I submitted the application to APS this morning & the interview time will be 9:45am.  I guess I'm one of the first group to submit the form.  I notice that the interview time is earlier (15 mins.) for submission earlier than me.  Not sure if the interview time will be arranged in sequence according to submission time.

They were quite efficient & you don't have to wait too long.  It took me about 20 minutes.

Thank you for u details.Autually, Hei Ching mon told me the large class size of APS. It is too crowd.

I really want to go the birthday party, but not enough ward IC line on that day,so it is difficulty to swap the duty. I want to share the interview experience with you. I hope the interview results will release as soon as possible.

I also tell to Ka Ka do not kiss the mouth.It is not respect to others. But, she alway do that. I feel her emotion fluctuated during this period. It may be affected by the recent interviews.

Any good news? Preston unexpectedly will go for 2 interviews this week and next week for the 2nd round. Actually, I would be more disappointed than if he got rejected in the 1st round. Now I'm really worried coz it's my turn to decide if he will be accepted. I haven't gone for interviews for so long, more nervous than my own job interview. Anyway, just do our best.

do you mean CKY ?  then, good news.

25% of the candidates applying for TSL will be going for 2nd interview.  chance of this is relatively high & therefore davin also got 2nd interview at TSL next Sat.  good luck to all of the kids.

Congratualtions to Davin. When's the 2nd interview? Preston will go to CKY and St. Paul co-ed 2nd interview tmr and next week. Really worried as I don't want to mess up due to our performance. It's difficult to relax and I have poor sleep already.

So, does Preston have to skip the class ?  Interview with parent is required at CKY at 2nd stage ?  Good luck then.

Davin will go for 2nd interview next Sat.  No interview with parent is required.  So, it totally depends on his performance.

wow, you can get very updated info about the school.  not many kids of the school apply for TSL.  so, do you know who else have 2nd interview ?

Four students are Davin, Edwin, Ka Ka and one is forgot.May be Kayla Soon.
Actually, 2500 candidates apply TSL. Only 25% can go to 2 nd in. About 652 candidates. So, they are very good.

Congratulations to KaKa as well. There are 2500 candidates applied TSL, more popular than all other schools? The kids are very good to get into 2nd round. Good luck to all.

TSL is more popular to apply, but it is not equal to the first choice and finally to give up for many candidates. Just as CKY, I know some friends who apply CKY and can go into 2nd in. But they say will give up even are accepted. Or they have other first choice.

Then, I just wonder what their first choices will be.  I can understand those giving up their places in private school like CKY if they get place in their target school through allotment.

So, what is your first choice ?

I think they choose traditional band 1 schools, like DBS, DGS. YW, ST. Mary, St Paul Co
To be frank, my first choice is CKY. But, no 2nd in  at that moment.I am Still mild disappointed. Of course PKC is a good image. On PKC interview , I saw a British kid who attended SMC interview. But she was  rejected by SMC. From her dad conversation, SMC is her one of choice but fail in Chinese part. So, she choose PKC. That I think PKC is also popular in non-Chinese kids. Autually, Ka Ka likes PKC & TSL because there have a swimming pool. She likes swimming.     

Actually, I do want to consider international schools because the low standard of Chinese and poor English writing skills.

TT(international stream) is good English environment. But, no seconday school can back up  international stream. I like TT Bcos it has a good English foundation and it is not local cirrculum.I hope KaKa study in IB cirrculum. Of course, I hope she can study secondary school in HK rather than other countries. She is a outgoing girl, so I do not give more freedom for her. I am afraid that she become bad.

Do u know that on TSL interview, I saw the head master of  the famous tutor center. He also choose TSL. Why don't he choose Top one school?

Congr. u  Preston can go to2nd in. in St. paul co-edu. I don't expect Ka Ka can go to 2nd in. Bcos, the performance of her was not good. The principle asked Ka Ka what is his name, but she said' I don't know' .

Thanks for sharing.  Having 2 class teachers is very attractive, I know.  Yet, it adopts a 12-year curriculum & the school fee is expensive.  You have subsidy & do not have this concern.

So, those kids going for 2nd interview at TSL has a 25% being accepted.  Not too bad.

Thanks. Preston just being lucky and out of my expectation as well. Anyway, just give it a try. The fee is quite high too and I need to consider if he got accepted I handed in the application for TT but no reply after 2 weeks so I guess the interview is over. (I don't understand why they still accept application if no more interview). My 1st choice is CKY too coz I like the bilingual enviornment.

What's your 1st choice? Is LS your 1st choice or DSS school?

I went to LHK for the parents meeting today coz I'm off after the interview. The teachers explained very well about the child in different aspects. mr. Creamer also gave me instructions on how to improve Preston in certain ways.
