Have you checked the CKY website, they started to post the 2nd interview applicants. Only 12 were posted, I guess they will update everyday.
I hate waiting for sooooo long.It's just a torture to parents.

I heard this morning that Cressida got 2nd interview at CKY.

Not surprised that Cressida got into 2nd round. I don't like they put out the result so slow. It's very stressful to check everyday.

Yes, 0544 is LH student.

When  I went to interview, I met maggie and some LH classmates. The no. of us likely start from around 0540 to0560. So I knew 0544 must LH(LV).

For our week on 18/10, Brian went in the am session. As for our pm session, there were 5 kids, incl Preston in the same group. The other 4 from K3A, so there are quite a lot of LH students applied for CKY. BTW, why don't you apply?

Any good news other than Cressida? Who else in your group? Do you know why there are some 12XX in the list? They should be the last group to interview and why did their result come out so fast?

Cos, in the interview on 11/10/2008. The candidate start from 0001-600 and 1xxx and above, so don't worried. May be maggie or Kayla can go 2nd interviewcos the no542 is LH students. How about u range of LH students? I think may after no. 600. I am very very very dissappointed now. But I know, her performance is not bad(she told) today cos she told more  when she see me unhappily. She said to me 'May be released the list later.don't be worried. I can choose the others'. The candidates may do better than her.

I count 192 candidates and the no. are nearly realeased on 11/10 interview ,so I think the chance for me going to2nd interview is low. Now. except DGS, I still have 3 interviews. I will give up 2 of them included DGS.

What comment on HKUGA, WKF and EV?

HKUGA should be good, but how good I can't tell.

HKBUWKF is good (many of us went for a visit) but new, no history of past achievement of the school.

Which school is EV ?

The concept of CKY is good but the Putonghua of Davin is poor & I think he definitely can't pass at the 1st interview.

Don't feel bad, at least Ka Ka has 1 DSS and 1 private school acceptance on hand. Preston has none so far and makes me worried. For the 18/10 interview, our no. range ~8XX, so I guess we still have to wait and wait and wait.

Preston was not good with Putongua b4 coz they're Cantonese stream. But after he has private putogua tutor, his putongua has improved a lot and learns the pingyin. Putongua is so important nowadays and almost a must in the future. Don't worry, kids learn language very fast.

I'm not worried about learning Putonghua.  As you say, kids can learn very fast & they have to learn more in primary school.  I just think he won't be able to respond if the interview is in Putonghua.

Have you decided which interview to go on 25/10 or have you made arrangement? Preston will go for DBS interview tmr and KTS early am. I'm kinda stressful coz these 2 are my favorites but I can't show it in front of Preston.

Just finished DBS interview, quite a lot of people. Glad the arragnement was OK, just needed to queue for ~20 min. The interview lasted more than 1 hour. One more to go tmr, then I need a rest. The only thing we can do is pray and wait...

Hope Davin, and Preston can be accepted by DBS.
I will go to KTS interview and will give up SFA because crash with Pui Kui. I like Pui Kui more than SFA.SFA is more traditional.

I understand now why DBS asks us to go 30 minutes before interview time.  We have to wake up tmr again as the registration time is 8:30am.  And, it's quite unbelievable that the interview lasts for an hour.

Did you enjoy the storytime ?  Yes, SFA is a traditional school.  If I were to choose, I also would go for Pui Kiu.

We left home early this am too, our interview time for KTS is 9:15am. Glad all 1st round interviews are over at this moment. Now it's just need to wait. What a torture to parents! Does your kid ask about the results of the interviews? Preston asked which school accept him and always mentioned about YW. I did not tell him the truth yet, just wait till all the results come out. I think he'll be disappointed if he knows about the results. Poor kid!
