Yes, but it crashes with the interview at KTS.  Sad as we will get one less chance.

To be frank, I haven't to get more info about DBS. But, the principle of right mind kindergarten who has 3 sons. Two of them are studying n DBS. One is in K3. She said he will not let 3rd son go to DBS again. Cos, Chinese is not teach in Putonghua. I Have friend who  study in KTS and now she is 17Year old . She said studying in KTS is very happy and she go to a famous secondary school in KT. I have some friends who kids also are studying in there. They said KTS is very good.Somtimes, I struggle to the famous of the school rather than the suitable to my daughter,so it depend on what u want.

Heartful thanks for sharing the info.  For those who'd been to the briefing session of DBS, the teaching concept of the school is really good.  The chance of getting in DBS is really small I know.  I'm still struggling which school to go for interview.  A friend of mine will check if we can change the interview time of KTS.

At this moment, I'm also cosidering to apply CPS.

My collegue's son and daughter are studying at KTS P.1 and P.2. They're really happy with school life but there are quite a lot of homework. Personally I like KTS more than DBS but KTS has no secondary school.

What time is the interviews? It's difficult to change KTS but according to the teachers from interview class, maybe there's a chance to change DBS. It's a hard decision.

I thought you'd like DBS more.  Except DBS & international schools, I think most of the other schools are demanding in homework.

FYI, interview at DBS will be 9-10 this Sat & 9:45 for KTS.

Is it Chan's creative school? Or creativeprish school?

It's Creative Primary School.  V expenseive but learn that it has a good reputation.

I have interview before. The idea is good, but less NET.32 per class. U can try it.

Thanks for your input.  I also have thought about NET teachers.  Of course, it's better to have more at a school.  Yet, when I think of myself when I was a kid, we could still pick up English if the teacher was good enough.

Dear moms,
Would anyone go for CKY interview this Sat? Our interview time is 1:15, I know some kids did the interview last Sat. I think quite a lot LHK students interview together. I wonder if any of our class interview at the same time.

I didn't apply for CKY, but have got interview at TSL this Sat also.  Will go to Open Day first in the morning & attend interview in the afternoon.  Very busy these few weeks.  Right ?!

Ka ka had finished the CKY interview on last week. I know 3 classrooms divded into 3 session. One is Chinese , one is English and last session is group games. Ka ka said the indivdual interview to teacher. It seem that interview is more difficulty than last year.Ka Ka just told me a little bit. I know some matching to do in English session and performance in Chinese. I do not know what was this because Ka ka do not want to say  anymore. But, I was very dissappointed her performance cos she met some LH friends and very crazy. My friend told me before do not hand the application form with friends. Cos they are crazy inthe unterview ,but i had not obey her opinion, so.......

Tomorrow, I will second interview CPS and will interview TSL.2nd interview CPS cos I think she is bordline case.

I know the fact that do not hand in together with friends but I forgot about this with CKY coz I thought it's so convenient we did not need to go in person. Now I'm worried about what may happen like Ka Ka. But I will tell him to behave well, keep my fingers crossed. The interview sounds quite difficult. Also, i want to know if you need to fill in a questionnaire while waiting?

Though I'm not disappointed at not having 2nd interview at Ying Wa, I'm more strict & a lot more serious when I help my kid to prepare for the interview.

Anyway, all moms, good luck again.  See if we will meet tomorrow at Open Day.

Finally finish CKY interview today. Glad that the kids behaved OK even they're in the same group(even Hin Man behaved well today.) It took quite long , 1 hour and 15 min. However, 75 min passed by very fast due to the questionnaire. Some of the parents even called for help to fill in the questionnaire. I just wonder if the principal has time to read them all in details. Anyway, just need to wait for the results. You better check the web middle of next week coz the results of the 1st group may be out.

The interview at TSL was much shorter & simpler.  Overall arrangement was very good.  Though interviews were packed, I didn't feel that it was crowded at all.

I applied to a school that I got no chance at all in the 1st round - LS.  I learnt that some classmates might have the chance to be admitted in the 1st round (differet schools).  How about you ?

During these interview, I feel every schools have pros and cons. Even u choose anyone that has disadvantages. Anyway, Parents absolutly agree to the belief of the school. I hope the interview is going out fastly, it make me exhausted.

I give up the 2nd interview of CPS.The school is good and the principle is very nice. The belief of the school is good. But I do not want to pay for reseve the seat to relatively lower choice.Cos, some schools pay more than $2000 fee for reseve the seat. It is so crazy.

Today, I meet a DBS ex-LH students who ma said DBS is very harsh because the school expect Parents put more resourses on the kids rather than the school given.P1 know the gramma. It is very stress for parents. More famous schools make parents harsh.

My sister told me that YW principle said it made her angry cos many interviewee are very impolite.

Autually, I give up to choose government school at the begining due to the poor net, So I eager to find the DSS or private school. If I have a good net, I must choose Gov'm schools. Cos, we can have more resouces to provide  for her in the future . But more new immigrants break the learning atomospere and I cannot accept their poor behaviour.

I have 20 marks so I 'gamble' Wah Yan. Very, very low chance but just give it a try. You still have 2nd chance for LS cos it's your net. Good luck.

I agree with you, every school has good and bad points. There are many good schools but it's not easy to find the 'right' one for your kid.
As for YW, you can't tell how a kid actually is from the few minutes of interview.

I asked the moms whose kids were accepted by CPS & they said the fee was only $450.  You should have given a try.

I also know that many famous schools are very demanding on the time & resources that parents can contribute.
