i think all 2.5 years old class are like singing class as the kids are too small to be taught ballet steps

Really!! My daughter has learnt ballet from that one at Ho Man Tin since 3 years old. She is now learning Primary and has passed three examinations. I do not expect that the class for a little girl below 6 will be very formal one. Otherwise, they will lose the interests. At least, the teacher there can teach the technique for the RAD exam.

My friend's daughter has learnt at JX Wong but she said the requirement is too hard and eventually she gave up. Then, is it a successful ballet class?? At least, not for some children.

My daughter enjoyed the ballet classes very much. Apart from the exams, the ballet school has performance chances. Recently, my daughter has participated in the MV of Ah Sa. If one is interested, you can go to "youtube" --> "Make a Wish" --> Charyline Choi to have a look.

The ballet school is a bit low portfolio and does not choose the students (I have heard some schools will choose those students who have good figure for ballets for higher grades).

The above are some information for sharing.

Thanks for your sharing. My daughter had learnt ballet for one year in PP class in YWCA. Well, I do agree that ballet class for small girls needs not to be too formal. However, what I was not satisfied was that Principal Leung was always absent from class and asked two young students to teach the lessons for her. They were not qualified ballet teachers. Also, there were a lot of people 出出入入 during classes.

My girl is now in Grade One. I do want to find a good/professional ballet school for her so that she can keep on learing ballet.

毛x I try before in summer program. But the teacher is not good. my daughter doesn't like her. And every finished not enough time to disscuss.

我個女兩歲時去過曾X麗學BALLET, 果到...真係又貴又昆水,老師又唔專業...但奈何佢果陣仲細,無咩其他學校有咁細個小朋友0既班...所以迫住繼續學....

家陣我個女三歲多D, 聽朋友介紹去左另一間芭蕾舞學校學,我覺好好...老師好有愛心,用一D遊戲方式教小朋友BALLET 0既BASIC STEP...我個女好好開心...我都好替佢開心...

我間學校近銅鑼灣,你地點0岩唔0岩丫?

Ow!! I see. Thanks for your sharing. I will observe as well. So far, Principal Leung is teaching on Saturdays' classes.

Do you have any good choices? If yes, please share. Because, my daughter cannot attend two days' class per week at the moment. Principal Leung is kind to offer that she can try double lessons on Satuadays. But one of the lessons is Grade 1. If my daughter can adapt to it, I will let her continue.

I think for small kids is more to have fun and exposure. To me near to home and the child enjoys the lesson are the most important. Whether the school is famous or not is less important.
Anybody pls advise if my thinking is correct? tks.
