My son is going to F1, there are 2 book lists. One is reference books and supplementary ex, most are workbooks and some expensive dictionary and grammar exercises listed. Do we need to buy all of them? Do they need to bring them to class? Any moms can share their experience ?

Secondary books are so expensive ...

我個人/囡經驗:
dictionary一定唔買
reference books and supplementary ex: 可以唔買住返學睇定先. 有d老師會自己print notes比學生做.
grammar exercises
老師有叫做 (你個囝都可以返學睇定先買)
workbook 一定要買 (雖然都係做左幾課)
