I think SPCS would ask you to give up the central allocation if you want to keep their seat... better check with the school.
About SSGPS, a very good school indeed, I have once read the English composition of their P.4 pupil, I can say it's better than the article written by some secondary students. My sister-in-law told me that she feels good teaching there as the students were so self motivated, self disciplined and with good manners.
How many points you have for this school at the first round? Priority will be given to those have higher points, I can say it's not a fair game....

Hi there,

My daughter is now studying at SPK and SPCS has already confirmed her space at P1.  However, SPCS can allow us to try the Central allocation and luckily, at the second round, SSGPS take her.  Can you help me to decide?  SPCS or SSGPS?

You should have registered in these two days with SSGPS, right? l wonder if the space at SPCS automatically be cancelled as I heard this is the practise of private school, since they have such a long waiting list, I am afraid they won't keep that space for so long. When is the deadline?
If I were you, I will choose the one near my place, if money is concerned, choose SSGPS as you don't have to pay for the school fee.

Yes, I know some graduates from St. Stephen's and all of them are very nice, humble ladies. As you are Christian, can you get 5 points for religion at the first round? SSGPS is under 聖公會，I heard that some famous christian schools only accept baptism cert. from the same church but some do not, you better check with them see if this benefit your daughter, chance will be higher with this additional 5 points.

Hi 麟媽媽,

I registered on Tuesday already with SSGPS.  I confirmed with SPCS that they will not cancel my space until they have my written confirmation but they prefer us to inform them latest at the registration date which is around the middle of July.

My daughter has to take the school bus for both schools anyway.  But SSGPS is a little bit closer, but not much.

The only thing I concern is SSGPS is a 中文小學 and Secondary School is a 英文中學.  Also for SSGPS, it is not guarantee for their P6 student to go straight to F1.  But for SPCS, most likely can go straight to F1.

SPCS 一條龍又真係唔使煩既，始於津校要小六再派位，梗係無guarantee一定原校直升。唔知SSGPS小六同中學班數比例係點呢？聽講好似St. Joseph小六8班但中一得番一半，實有好多人入唔番中學，但好似華仁小學有4班上中學有5班相對入番幾會大DD。
我今晚問埋我弟婦SSGPS升中派位情況，遲D話埋你知。

Hi 麟媽媽,

SSGPS 中一有五班, 小六只有三班, 所以入番中學啲比例似乎唔係太差, 但係個女重咁細, 讀書啲成績係點又未知, 但SPCS就肯定一條龍.  SPCS 小一巳有兩次大測,兩次考試, 而SSGPS 到小三先有考試. 所以似乎壓力冇咁大.

You are very lucky, St Stephen's girls school is my dream school.  How many scores do you have, 20?

I have just 5 points (First child) only.  First round I was failed, SSGPS just take me at the second round.  If you think on my side, which school will you choose?
