根德園會收細B嗎

我一直很喜歡這所學校,但我仔仔係06年12月尾BB, 即係細B,一直盛傳根德園唔收細仔,所以都有d失望,但我都想今年年尾試試報考出年既K1,唔知有冇家長既BB係細b而又讀緊呢,唔知根德園只收大仔既傳聞是否真實???煩請各位給予意見

Yes you are right, KV does not accept small boys but if you really want to study in KV you can wait for 1 more year, as KV application allow students' DOB (dateof birth) from Nov of previous year, then your boy will become big boy.

我哋舊年喺BK forum自己報上取錄名單時,有見過11月嘅細b,但12月就好似唔多見。如你好想,又不妨試試,攞下經驗都好。如果唔得而你仍然喜歡KV,可以下年再考做大b。

錯!  KV係會收細B, 我仔都係11月細仔, 佢依家讀K2, 當件第1輪巳收, 並唔係waiting list.  

佢 K1 同 K2 同班都有細仔細女(4-5個), 我又唔見佢讀得好辛苦, 中英數全部都跟得上, 尤其係中文--> K1直至依家考試同默書呢一科都全對 (真係無同佢溫).  所以, KV真係唔錯, 教得好好!

我姨甥仔都係11月細仔，都讀得好好，老師也常讚他成績好，而且從不補習，KV真係教得好㗎!

Don't worry! They accepted my VERY small gal(the end of Nov), so depends on the baby and the parents, do ur best!!!

My daughter is  also a 'small girl'. She is born in mid December.  Kentvill Kindergarten is a good school. The teachers from Kentville Kindergarten are very good.  They do not have any bias to the 'small child'.  In these years, my daughter enjoys her school life very much.

I hope that you child will admit Kentville Kindergarten successfully.

Very surprise. I know a friend her elder son studies in KV but KV rejected her second son's application, so she asked her elder son's class mistress why, the teacher replied becasue her second son was born in Dec, really too small, and the class mistress advised her to apply again next year. So I always think KV does not like to accept small kids. You daughter must be very smart during interview.

Thank you very much, I hope so. But I am not in confidence on it. Because my son only will follow my instruction when he got the mood. I think the school may not consider if they know my son was born in end of Dec.

Yes, Kangaroo, same here. My elder daughter is studying in KV but KV didn't take my younger son last school year. Now that my son has to repeat K1 at KV this coming September. My younger son actually learns things faster than my daughter; however, he is small and not very chubby. Anyway, I think it's not bad for him to repeat K1 and be a big B in the new school year. His small and big muscles need more time to develop. I'd rather him to learn with full condifence as a big B. Besides, big boys perform better when they apply for primary schools.

我記得KV係分開大B同細B兩日去面試, 所以當日小朋友嘅年紀相距係比較少。大B係著數一點, 因為表現會好些。但想起KV已將大細B分開面試, 可見佢係想減少此情況。

我個B都係算細 (9月), 仲唔識唱歌 (面試最後一項), 當初都不抱期望, 最後收咗。當時只係我唱, 阿囝只係望住我, 不過佢有講 Thank you, byebye (我有提), 都唔知點評分...

宜家阿囝大多幾個月, 佢真係好唔同, 可見大B真係會醒d。都唔係學校專收大B嘅, 大B真係有點兒佔優。學校將大細B分開, 細b有細b面試, 會較好了。其實其他面試項目, 細B都可以應付自如, 所以唔好灰心, 細B都得架!

我有朋友個囡是12月底讀KV.不過我個人經驗,我個囡都係12月頭,之前讀SC,我個女不論讀書OR寫字比較同年都係差些,我建議你遲一年讀會較優勝!

有兩個老師, 一個老師同家長傾, 一個同小朋友傾。老師好親切, 佢哋會用方法引小朋友, 吸引佢坐低玩 (無錯! 係玩, 唔係面試)。

同家長傾計時, 我唔可以望住佢, 以下係我同老師傾計前, 傾完後見到老師同小朋友玩嘅項目:

1) 幾個小人仔, 叫小朋友將佢哋連在一起 (公仔嘅手仔係可以同另一個公仔手仔連埋)。老師做完一兩次, 叫小朋友試下。

2) 有本大故事書, 入面有個媽媽同小朋友喺洗手間度。老師指住個媽媽問, 呢個係邊個呀? (我阿囝唔識答, 可能佢以為好似相咁, 真係唔認得, 又唔知其實係媽媽)。再指住個牙刷, 問佢係咩。(答咗 brush)。仲有一隻貓, 問佢係咩。

3) 有塊 puzzle, 係BB玩那種。一塊大板, 上面有幾個圖案, 要小朋友放返上去。

4) 唱歌。(我話同佢唱 exercise song, 我唱小朋友做動作。結果係阿囝望住我, 我就好投入, 一次又一次地嘗試, 老師叫: 得喇!)

5) 最後, Byebye老師。佢竟然走到各老師面前, 飛吻。

6) 面試完, 比一張紙仔出面另一個老師。老師會比粒糖佢, 我諗係考佢講多謝。(提佢好多次, 最後有講, 仲要一手攞咗兩粒糖, 幾驚有事呀! 不過自己提自己, 佢係都要 two two, 攞兩粒, 我只好"mult" 底喺佢耳邊叫佢one only。小朋友唔聽, 我無太堅持, 唔通想表現佢唔聽教咩, 叫佢講 thank you 囉!)

家長問題, 記得問我:
1) 佢最鐘意同邊個人玩? (我答: 我囉! 重係咁笑。)
2) 佢戒片未 (我答: 訓練中, 戒緊。)
其他問題唔係好記得, 不過好普通嘅問題。我想有此安排係唔想家長太注意小朋友, 又可以睇下你有幾了解自己個小朋友囉。講真, 你點答, 答案唔重要, 係睇下家長認識自己個小朋友有幾多, 親子關係啩?!

我個仔今年向kv讀K3,我見好多紀念冊d小朋友簽番比我個仔，大部份都係1/2/3/4/5/6月出生，成二十多張，只有1/2個係8月打後出生，不過我細仔都係9月生日，今年9月都會入kv.所以唔好灰心．
