HRGPS am and pm are both popular in Wanchai becos' of their associations with 皇仁.  Every year, there will be about 20-25 students from HRGPS am and about same number from HRGPS pm going to 皇仁.

Of cos' the most popular schools in Wanchai will be Wah Yan and St J as there are direct secondary schools but HRGPS is not too far behind in terms of popularity, especially for siblings of different sexes.

AM - there is no 精英班 but the top 30% students are ranked in a chart which will be published after each test/exam.  No standard English text books but using an integrated approach to teaching English (via story books, creative writing/reading) which makes learning English interesting.

PM - there is 精英班 since P2 and students must work hard to maintain the standards in the class.  Tough pressure on both students and parents.

請問甘算唔算係BAND1學校, 其它入唔到皇仁的學生又怎樣???

I am not sure if Band I/II/III are used for primary schools but in general, the boys will target QC as 1st choice and the girls, BPS for HRGPS due to the associations.

The rest will usualy go to the secondary schools around Wanchai area - Tan Shui Kin, Ho Tung etc.  I am not clear though on the detailed allocations.

聽講軒小每年都會招考插班生, 幾乎全港其他男校尖子心儀入讀QC都會應考, 如果成績中上者, 分分鐘會被迫出精英班, 屆時不知會派到甚麼學校, 這是我朋友幾年前的經歷, 他兒子一向在精英班, 但升小五時, 學校收了一些插班生, 他被擯出精英班, 升中時竟被派到北角桂華山, 後來幾經奔跑, 才另找到一間band 2學校.
