小學又無分banding, 而且st. mary係一條龍上其中學,
係唔係band 1尾.....有邊間津小夠膽話自己學校成績係band1頭?
想讀band1頭,相信只有私校如sfa, dgs, gh

I think that St Mary is a very top school. Comparing with sfa and gh, St Mary is also competitive. But of course, dgs is in another catagory. Actually, many 津小are band1頭, but they are not very high profile. They do not have extra resources to do advertisements like some private schools.

小學應該無分banding喎...不過如果有家長好介意的話,要學校係band 1頭, 津校點樣收生係人都知, 質素有好大分別, 當然有好top既學生,但差既都唔少, so 論課程, 論學生質素, st. mary點同女拔or even 德望比 ? 我係講overall學生, 唔係一個半個, 因我知每間學校都有好top既學生, 我識有朋友插班入左st. mary都要轉番gh, 就係話英文程度淺.

st. mary中學係英中，　當然係ｂａｎｄ１. Then, where the students of st. mary中學 come from? Are they mainly coming from St. Mary Primary Schools, which are subvented schools and cannot choose their own students. But they can still become Band 1. Personally speaking, I appreciate very much of such kinds of schools, which are really aiming for education, not a brandname.

同意DGS係另類,但個人覺得SFA同GH又沒有點特別.你哋所說English深淺問題!!對,見過有個SFA學生仔好似小一尾已諗Tense Table,好impress,但這又代表咩呢!!只覺得學校在"拔苗助長".難度這叫Band 1...有時聽到人說邊間邊間學校用高一兩級之課本,那就是"名"學校嗎!!難怪好多學校都要給好多好多功課給小朋友...做到大人同小朋友死.訓練得好又點,到頭來又係轉會.

有次聽到兩個小朋友在大聲說"我個間是名校",嘩7-8歲己這樣"膚淺"...再聽是"Kln Tong 聖+"同GH之爭...Oh my G...

同意,其實學校教高一兩級唔難(屋村學校都得),問題
係學生會好辛苦,所以唔多學校會做.

我又知有個good hope插班一好學校,但唔收,又有另一個插班插到(我心目中心既好學校啦又係),入到去讀原來又唔係咁top,.....照道理佢入good hope都係揀過.........我只係想講,話間學校淺唔淺,都係好個人的.....'所以st mary 點同德望比'....咁又未必喎.....dgs就係全港最好五間內啦(呢間唔係超級名校同佢比既話就實無得比),但我見到德望同st mary係咁上下既學校黎架喎...一間要比錢,一間唔駛比錢咋喎

p.s. 我唔係話德望唔好呀下...........我九龍咩學校都唔識...德望我識架.....仲有勁人網友囡囡係度讀緊添.......但個別人既野就唔可以照搬返出黎..........

Do you know the academic level between 聖心上午校 and 嘉諾撒聖瑪利學校? If not considering location and school fee, which one is better?

無諗住報讀以上兩間學校,但聽說應該係聖瑪利中學係好少少,小學唔知......未曾求證

St mary's其實都是一間好學校,學生的品德不錯,成績也錯,每年也有幾個GH top students轉校去St Mary's插班。St Mary's 中學是英中,以往只有全级頭80名的St Mary's小學生可以直升其中學部。近年才轉一條龍直升中學。不過St. Mary's並不重視校外比賽成績,所以便沒有那麼出名了。St. Mary's 的老師對學生都很好，又有愛心。

全港應該係無一間小學係100%band1,但有一間津校係港島, 好似有9x%. 而九龍區應該係九龍塘宣小84%(之前既資料),愈多band1位就升英中%比較高, 如宣小有100位學生,甘考第84, 係本區都可以選band1之類中學
一般既津小有50%band1,已經係好好top,st mary 既band 1係5x%, 有mug band3大約幾個%. 我朋友個女剛升中, 好清楚果年情況.如果唔信可以去圖書館搵06-07小學指南(荷花出),寫得好清楚st mary 係54%band1,其實e+既st mary 係直升, band幾都無所謂.

有好多媽咪談論某某學校有幾多band1%,其實係小學剛畢業既家長最清楚.老師會講給你知考第名之內可以選band1中學,免選錯校.

I also feel that St. Mary's Canossian College is slightly better than Sacred Heart Canossian College. 起碼久不不St. Mary's 有10A.
Never heard that SH has 10A students.

SFA stands for

St. Francis of Assisi's English Primary School

Over 90% of their p.6 graduates are widely distributed to famous english secondary school every year.
( recorded from their 06-07 SSPAL result )
