盈暉台朗詩大概開左兩年多左右, 佢地好似無homepage.  nursery係無分國際班or雙語班, k1先分.nursery都有字學, 但都係認d簡單既字. 我諗盈暉台朗詩上午班都好易full.

My kid is also studying in Think Nob Hill Nursery.  I share the views of BBCHU and  would rate 80 (out of 100) of this school in terms of curriculum, teaching methods, environment etc... The class mistress is responsible and love children, also communicate well with parents.

My son joined Think since last August. At that time the threaten of SARS was not yet over. I have particular looked into the school condition and found that Think offers good ventillation system among other kinder in the area. Perhaps because it is newly built. This is one of the reason why I chose Think.

My boy borned in August 01.  Think admitted child at the youngest of 24 months for Nursery. For those younger than 24 months, they recommended them to join later by reserving a seat. So at the very beginning, the class was only 9 kids and now it becomes 12 or 13 (not so sure).

For English level,  at Nursery, the time spent is around 15 to 20 mins every day.  My boy is able to recognize quite a lot of subjects' names and speak some simple sentences.  It could be better if there is an english speaking environment at home as some of his classmates do. From K1 upwards, the time spent in English is largely increased to half of school time.  

I have spoken with the Indian mistress on some occasions and did not found any Indian accent. Per the former deputy headmistress, the Indian mistress was brought up and educated in England. Don't worry about her English.   Just may be some parents will prefer "western" face rather than an "eastern" face and have different opinion.

thx for all your info.  do you think it's too young if my son go to k1 in sep2005?  my son was borned in dec2002.  he'll be the "small son" in the class.  many people said it's better to postpone 1year.  however, some said he can repear k1 if he can't catch up.  what do you thinK?

For me, I prefer to send my boy to school earlier as I'm a working mother and not able to spend too much time with him to teach and lead him.  When my husband & me go to work, the child can only get along with the maid whole day where I don't think the maid could play the role of  "管與教".  Therefore,  we have no choice but to leave this "job" to a school which we think it's reliable. When my son joined Think, he is the youngest in the class even in the school. I was very much worry (just have the same worry as you).  But later, when I found that the classmistress has sufficient attention to him and the school could take good care of him, I even more 放心 when he is at school rather than he is at home with the maid.   

Nevertheless, on the perspective of learning, older kids will have previledge as their intelligence and life experience are much mature so that they could learn faster and easier.  In view of this, they could naturally gain confidence through the learning process.  

My boy will be on K1 in coming August at his age of just 3 years old.  Since he was in school for almost one year and I observe that he enjoyed school lives very much, so I think it won't be a problem in getting on the K1 curriculum.  

My own opinion is if you have someone at home could do some teaching systematically, you may consider send him to school later, otherwise, a kinder will generally helps to teach kids in an organized way.
