各位家長：若我女兒本身不夠分 (聽聞要20分) ，我可以怎樣鋪路入瑪利諾小學?感謝!

搬屋可能係最直接增加命中率.
不過當然又再要加幸運la

如果唔係, 只有催谷小朋友成績, p.2 再考插班. 不過咁樣做都唔係一定入到. 而且大人加細路都一樣好辛苦.

多謝妳回答。去41區，是否代表我在統一派位甲部第一志願寫Maryknoll，然後在乙部的第一志願再寫Maryknoll就有機會？

感謝妳的回答。請問妳也是搬到41校網而憑地址入到Maryknoll嗎？是否搬到41校網就可以？若小二插班要什麼成績和要不要有什麼個人長處如音樂等？

好似插班都係教友優先, 識朋友唔同宗教,成績好好都唔派表

I think that if you are catholic or if you are living in that school net, then it is OK for you to apply. That means that you do not have to do anything extra to get it and all you have to do is to wait for the "luck".

But if you have to do extra things, e.g. renting or buying a new flat there, or getting a false address, etc. Then, maybe, you are advised to think twice.

Actually, nowadays, not like the old days before, there are good schools, which are also outstanding in sports, academic, in each district. All you have to do is to do some research first.

Besides, you may observe the talent of your daughter first before making any decision.

By the way, why you insist on choosing girl's school?

我都想我個女入maryknoll, 而且我有2個女, 我是有41區住址證明, + 首名子女, 就沒有分了, 因我是基督徒, 要參加大抽獎的命中率有幾多呢, 真的擔心

如果係女拔, 聖保羅男女就值得囉...
唔值得搬屋去大抽獎, 因為唔係一定得

揀學校真係要睇小朋友受邊套, 當然最緊要家長願唔願意比時間跟到足 (如讀傳統學校)

Totally incorrect.
MCS has no preference for Catholic nor good relationship with the school.
The requirement is good academic result with good conduct.
I know several transferred students. They are not Catholic nor having good friends in MCS. They are all top students in their orginal schools.

我朋友既囡囡上年真係無派表(唔係教友), 佢係自己學校都好top, 而最後女拔收左.

而我亦有事例有朋友係識學校而被收.

Of course there are many top students who got admitted not because of Catholic nor relationship, but I am also very sure it is not the whole picture. 有得揀佢哋會揀成績最top而又係教友囉.  正如有兩位applicants, 大家一樣咁叻, 但一個係教友, 咁學校正路緊係揀同宗教既學生.

再講有資格去考插班, good academic and good conduct 都唔會差得去邊, or 一定有d特異工能, 呢d都係考插班必備既元素

For me, this method is not good because
1) money spending and does not garantee
2) bad sample to the children
3) in term of religious point of view, this is making a false statment.

May be, someone will laugh at me because I am stubborn. But I just want to be simple and to do what I have and what I could have.
