我係咪要好似傳統學校的家長咁同佢一齊做project?做功課?因有些朋友同我講讀傳統學校可以請補習老師幫手，但國際學校完全由家長幫手，補習老師幫唔到手，但有些我都唔曉，老公又忙，點算呢?

Projects are all done by kids themselves  Parents may help a bit in early years, like finding materials or taking photos, not too much to do.

But parents need to help the kids to read a lot at year 1(at age 5 when they just start to develop their reading skills).  After Y1, they can already read and write by themselves.

I think kids normally learn writing A to Z in kinder, I don't know much about ESF kinder, but I know that in ESF primary, kids usually start to try spelling the English words using phonics, teachers will let them write a lot, no need to be correct, but just let them write and write, gradually they will spell correctly.  All writings are mostly done at school, so you don't need to worry.  But for reading, they will take a book back home to read everyday, so parents should help them in reading more.
