BB現在1歲,想比佢返九龍塘朗思playground,之後再返觀塘幼兒班(因九龍塘沒有幼兒班),想問朗思多唔多功課?小朋友讀得開唔開心?其實朗思難唔難入?與pre-school比較,那一間好些?

Dear moms,
My daughter also studied in this school (playgroup) and will go to Nursery this Aug (Nob Hill branch).  My daughter learnt a lot there and can talk in English and Cantonese.  She knows when talking to the maid (English) and us (Cantonese).  I don't want her know only English as Chinese is also very important.

She is still with the playgroup until end June.  I recommend this school to some of my friends and they all said is good.

I think may be the teachers and the school campus are varied from different branch.

小囡正返觀塘朗思幼兒班，暫時都冇功課。第一日返學到現在都冇喊過，有時係學校玩出了好多汗，老師或嬸嬸都會邦佢換衫。每個星期都學一首中文歌，我個囡係屋企時時都會唱歌。有時出街坐車經過學校門口，佢都會好興奮。我都會給佢繼續讀k1. 幼兒班很容易入，不用擔心。

其實間間都係1:15，規定嫁．

朗思並不是收生不足，我個囡下半年插班(因上半年未足年齡)本打算給佢讀上午班，但一早就爆满，唯有給佢讀下午，初時都冇位，最后又ok。其實1:15的比例幾好，講真一個老師怎么可以睇這么多學生，尤其是幼兒班，個個小朋友都係剛剛兩歲，初初都唔識表達自己，太多學生一班好難控制。我囡的班都係15個小朋友。其實朗思都係屬于新學校(四五年時間，可能我搞錯)，部分校舍並不是很大，如果收太多學生容易造成混亂。
幼兒班多數係玩，最主要睇小朋友的改變。我個囡返學兩個半月，廣東話進步了好多。之前我還擔心佢語言會好混亂，因為我們用三種語言同佢溝通，現在放心了。暫時對學校尚未有任何不满。

多謝妳哋的回應,可能我的表達能力有嚸問題,其實我是想說,1個老師對15個學生,會否是太多學生了,我知道政府規定最多1:15,但我亦知有些學校會1個老師對少於15個學生,我覺得學生少嚸會好些.

如果你要去個隻學校，價錢可能又要貴一些了．我知道"Tutor Time"係２:１５的，不過要＄５６００一個月，同Think的　１：１５，要＄３０００一個月（國際班）．

家長要比雙陪，因為學生�老師比例細左，你是否要這樣？

比例細古然好，但係唔係咁多人會負擔得到呢！要多人黎讀，又如何做到細比例呢！

1:15當然不及2:15好，但好多學校都係咁囉．

我明白妳的意思.
其實我都問過多多,師生比例的確細,但價錢亦是我考慮的因素. 其實我本人最喜歡kingston,但學費貴到飛起.
我想比仔仔讀國際學校,現在主要考慮Think及Pre-School.
但Pre-school沒有幼兒班,所以我會先比仔仔讀九龍塘Think的playground,佢哋1比5-6,我覺得幾好,如果讀得好,就會比仔仔直上幼稚兒及小學.
其實妳覺得1:15可以嗎?老師照顧得好嗎?

I understand that Think's international class is limited to 1:10 not 1:15, that's means that 2 techers with max. 20 kids.  However, bilingual class is really 1:15 same as other kingd.

You're better check with Think.

呀仔而家係Laguna City朗思幼兒(雙語)上午班係1:12，我覺得都ok，聽講黎緊K1(international class)好似係1:15。

Which branch is your daughter studying in?  Is it difficult to get in if 下半年插班.  I want my son to go for nursury in MeiFoo branch.  My son is too young and we can only 插班 in Feb05.  However, there're 15 students per class so I'm afraid there'll be no seat at that moment.

You're right that the 下學期係2月開始.  My son will be 2yrs old in coming Dec so the school rep said he can 插班 at then.

What's your comment on 下午班?  I also prefer morning session but 下午班 is also ok.  What's your BB's itineray?  Many mothers said 下午班 BBs will sleep very late.  How about yours?

當然記得你，你記性真係好連囡囡的名都記得。我還有你的電話，因知你多數星期六要同仔仔返興趣班一定好忙，所以一直未聯絡。藍藍九月係讀k1上午班，皓皓呢?不過我會給佢讀本地班，因我想佢讀多點中文。暑期你會給個仔返什么興趣班?差唔多一個半月假，真不知該怎樣安排。有什么好提意嗎?

Hi Maria,

我個囡讀麗港城朗思下午班，因佢都係十二月出世，所以都係插班。不難入，因為好多家長都唔鐘意讀下午班。最主要是因為小朋友午睡的問題，而且時間不是很好用。但插班冇選擇，因為上午班一早就滿。你可以先申請排隊，不過囡囡初初返的兩個星期真係"幾痛苦"，無論係大人或小朋友，因為佢習慣下午點半左右開始sleep，所以日日返到屋企都會哭住sleep.佢只係頭兩日返一個鐘，一個星期就返三個鐘la，由于4:15放學，返到屋企多數會給佢睡一個至個半鐘，到晚上要12:00才肯睡。我個工人又冇做，所以要自已夜晚睇佢，真係好難過，一直到現在都係。不過還有個半月就放假了，到時可以邦佢轉返個時間。
