如果九龍塘有間名校收，妳會放棄派位培基嗎？

It depends on you.  My daughter also admitted by 九龍塘小學 及 禮賢小學,  finally I choose Pooi Kei.  I am satisfied with Pooi Kei as I think if I choose the school in Kowloon Tong, I will become more nervous and have more pressure.

現讀幾年級呀？

我選培基最大原因係學校用普通話教中文，數學用英文 text book。

如果想小朋友能入讀九龍區的英中，是不是應該讀九龍塘區小學，幫佢舖好條路？　　
沙田區英中與九龍塘區英中，兩者競爭和分別在哪？
其實讀培基真是比較輕鬆嗎，可以令學生的水平達致九龍塘區？

My daughter is now in P.2.  Before I choose Pooi Kei, I concern mainly the location and also I know that the school is strong in English Language.  My daughter is the first year of Eng-Math and it is also a bonus to us.  The school life is easy in the first year, esp the first term of P.1, only 3-4 dictations as far as I remember.  The life in Primary school is completely different with Kindergarten. She came back to home at around 3:30pm and started to do some homework in around 1-1.5 hours and have free time and after dinner she need to prepare for going to bed just after practising piano.  If she studies in Kowloon, the homework may be more and the time is less as she will come back late.  Now, in P.2 the pressure is more as she will not sit down to do the homework for a long time, not like P.1 as she is still listen to me.  

As I review my decision, I think I am correct as Pooi Kei does not have a lot of homework and they also schedule the exam before long holidays, so we can enjoy X'mas evey year rather than struggle in revision.  Without paying school fee and we can enjoy Eng-math and Putonghua - Chinese Lang. is a definitely a gift for the parents.  And my second kid also guarantee to have a seat two years later.

小女都係今次大抽獎派到入培基，我已經放棄左禮賢，放棄的原因有很多，第一返學近d，第二唔洗俾學費就有英數同普通話中文o係津校來說係好少有，第三我知小女都唔會係讀書好叻的人，如果讀私小對佢來說會係好大壓力，我唔想見到個女驚左讀書，第四細佬下午guarantee收。

多謝你呀!我覺得係阿女有抽獎命，所以才會抽到第一志願呀!我認識的朋友最叻都係派第三志願咋!
唔洗客氣呀!好開心可以認識到同學仔!6月25日見啦! 不過當日我唔會帶阿女返培基。 係我自己去培基咋!
