給K2/K3家長: 小一選校心得

Hi Plamchristy,

My son is K2 now.  But I don't have any idea for choosing primary school.  I live in shatin.  Can you give me some comments about the schools in Shatin?  How can I choose a suitable one??

I want to let my kid to learn《中华字经》by Kinder U,
It is a method who teach child to "learn" or "recognise"' chinese word by using flash cards.
I know you're expert in using flash card, so may be you can share some of our experience :
1/ Can the child remember the words learnt  if she/he does not encounter that word again , say, for one year?
2/ After learning the word, does the child know the meaning?
3/ Have you heard about 中华字经, is it good ?

Hi liyinfai,

Thanks, I am not an expert but just an early user.

1. My daughter can still remember the word when she encounter the word again.

2. Normal I will teach word that she already encountered in her daily life so that she can associate the image of the word with the meaning of the word.  This is learning through association.

3. Sorry but I know little on the method you are talking about and therefore it is hard to comment.  It seems that it is becoming famous nowaday.

Is there any parent who can comment on primary school on net 41?  I am not familar of the school there.

If you have a girl, I will vote for Heep Yunn.

很多謝你把意見分亨出來, 但我請教你一樣野 : 如果我係第一次自行選校,統一派位及自己敲門, 但A學校都係唔收我; 之後我轉去B學校敲門, 咁D老師實問我點解咁多次都冇揀我地學校, 而今次會揀我地係點解呢, 咁我應該要點答先得呀?(但我係B學校有15分, A校得5分, 因聯校嘅關係, 所以首選係A校)麻煩你教下我吖, 唔該!!!

Heep yunn is very difficult to enrol.  How about 聖羅撒?   Any comment?  Good choice too?

both heep yunn and st. rose are located in 34 net not 41 net...

yes heep yunn offer 3 P1 classes only...  so difficult to enrol...
