DSS means that the school is subsidized by the government.
Private school means that the school operates at the sponsoring organisation's own expense.

Just one question:  is CKY a DSS?  I thought it is all the time. But their leaflet says they are 'through train quality private school', very confusing?   As for TSL, they says they are a DSS primary  ...

QUESTION(1) - Yes, you are better to write to St. Paul Boys to inform the school that you would like to withdraw from their school.  

QUESTION (2) -if you really cannot make the registration on your own, I believe you can authorise somebody to assist you.  Don't miss those three days, otherwise, the school will think that you decline the offer.  For safety, I  advise you to call the general office to confirm it. If you trust me, I can help you to make the registration!

有否取 DBS 而放棄 SPCC ?

本人開立了以下 thread 的原因是想了解其實 DBS 與 SPCC  是否有很多重覆的小孩在當中，若然係的話，兩校的 Waiting List 的小朋友確實好有機會被交叉補上的，越多重覆，機會越大的。

可惜 so far 知道兩家都被收的機會實在不太多，莫非兩家要的對象是兩種很不同類型的小朋友而導致同被收錄的不多 ??

(1) 請問各位被取錄的 DBS 家長們，您們的小朋友有否同時被 SPCC 取錄 ?

(2) 請問您們最終會選那一間 ?

我亦面對同一問題，到現在仲未有idea揀那一間，都想聽多一点，但是我覺得冇人可以俾到任何suggestion，讀緊dbs的會buy dbs，相反spcc的會buy spcc，而絕少數人兩間都讀過

其實未必個個家長都會同時報考DBS 與 SPCC的, 可能有人只喜歡其中一間就只報該間, 我自己就覺得SPCC係香港太遠所以無報.
所以兩校的收生標準是否不同都很難說.

I'll have my elder sister to do it for me as my nephew studied in the secondary school there.  Thanks for your kind offer.
