以我所知今年小朋友除左入到浸小外，撇除派位都有同學仔入到﹕CKY, 優才, SFA, 培僑, 聖瑪加利, 高主教, 音小, 真道, 播道, KTS, 港大同學會

You are right, my girl is now in K3 and she is going to CKY and her classmates will go to 浸小, CKY, 真道, 播道, 培僑 etc...

Dear Parents,

Don't worry, the kids I know all is very happy, active, presentable and cheerful, the interview is not very difficult to them unless the interview is a written examination...

They all cannot write very well .. compare to other kids in famous traditional kinder..

I am interested in this kinder.  As you mentioned, they cannot write very well, did the kinder teach them how to write  ??   When you say presentable. ? All of them are not shey to speak in front of the stranger ??

Yes, my boy is not affraid of stranger and speak to them politely.

HKBUK student is presentable but you have to boost them up academically.  English is weakest link comparing to others.  Do prepare do your own work to brush up their English.

My son will go to Ying Wa P.1 in Sept 2008.

do your son study in 浸幼 from K1-K3, would you mind to tell me more about 浸幼 teaching method, quality of teacher, teacher attitude, student attitude, etc.
what i should add to learn on my daughter who will study 浸幼, e.g. English, Phonic, Manderine, etc?

HKBUK is a school to train student behaviour, confidence.  For myself, the school did not emphasize very much academically.  Do you think 30 mins English class a week is adequate?

HKBUK did not have much homework.   it is an opportunity for parent to teach their kids at home.

But my son is really confidence and relax in front of stranger.  and their schoolmates also.

你們好，我有個問題想請教大家，我囡囡現在讀緊迦南(九龍塘)n1上午斑，而浸幼亦收了她讀k1下午班，我唔知轉唔轉好，我想佢入到好的小學(如英文小學)。我知浸小會優先考慮浸幼學生(在我心中這是優勝之處)，但我又怕若讀浸幼，小一面試其他小學時競爭力比較弱，因他課程比較淺及語言訓練又較弱(相比其它幼稚園)。
至於迦南的課程及語言訓練就比上不足比下有餘(我問過學校，佢話k1英文每天有30mins，普通話就隔天有)。
請你們比d意見

My girl is studying in K1 and she's very shy and not willing to talk to stranger.  I think she's improved a lot after studying in HKBUK and this is the reason I choose this school.

can anyone share which primary schools the kids will go too?  my boy got an offer in pm session, still thinking should i let him go

My girl(k3) 's teacher has just done survey in the class.  My girl said most of her classmates will go to BU WKF school.  About 4-5 will go to LOGOs , 1-2 go to Pui Kiu / GT college.  A small portion still haven't decided which school to go.

小女亦正就讀BUKG K1,亦考慮直上BUWKF.
但有一疑問,BUWKF屬英語為主的小學,走的路線及模式偏向國際學校,幼稚園的三年訓練足夠小朋友應付學習需要嗎?

我個人認為不足夠.需額外再學. 畢竟每日上課時間才三小時. 而活動教學所花的時間很多. 教英語的時間都所剩無己了........

多謝各幻浸幼媽咪意見!
我同老公好鍾意浸幼教學理念,一心諗住入讀(已收取為2009年k1 pm), 但好多朋友反對, 又話無得返轉頭, 入唔到傳統小學, 唔識字, 比出面小朋友差, 太過自由好難管!
攪到我好煩惱!心諗有無咁誇張,唔識宇,咩叫唔識字!?好多疑問?
係到我睇咗成個早上, 我明白晒! 終於可以下決定! 我們一定會讀浸幼. 小朋友self development, confident & EQ cannot easy to easy to built up.  But many mother said that their children have get this from studying in 浸幼. We love it very much! About the 學術方面, 如果太驚, 你出面再報course! 我相小朋友如能自發性學習, 無野難到佢, 入到傳統小學, 亦好快適應.
加上, 我老公話我們讀邊間學校都好!父母都係要付出好多時間比小朋友,佢地成長伯發展先會好, 唔好諗住比咗錢出去, 交晒比外人教好你小朋友,自己唔駛付出咁多, 這世界無咁既package!
下了決定, 鬆一口氣!

我在此可以作小小分享, 我個囡下年會升浸小, 在這幾年的幼稚園學習中, 小囡很享受返學生活, 如突然不用返學(打風、 流感等)她聽到後會立即哭.  語文方面, 英文是她最弱的, 因為我們沒有工人姐姐, 溝通都是廣東話, 難免較差.  因此作為家長在這方面真是要多下功夫.  而中文方面, 她認到很多不同類型的字, 這令我很驚訝, 一本故事書她可以讀到八成, 雖然不懂含意, 但起碼能認得並能讀出, 但這一定不是我教她, 因在家她是不會主動看圖書, 這一定是老師的功勞.而我對老師都十分滿意, 她們試過晚上10:45打電話給我和我溝通(因那時她們才進修完返到家),這令我十分感動.  每個家長都最了解自己的小朋友, 為她們選擇一條最適合的路.
