Anyone received call from PLK Choi Kai Yau for 2nd interview?

i think the second 24nov monring group should be afternoon group
but they may be busy and forgot to do this lah

Hey, why you said that?  As I known, one of my friends also got a phone call fr cky for 2nd in which scheduled on 8 Dec.   As the staff of cky said that the list still not yet updated coz they are busy in dealing with the 2nd in arrangement these days.  But they surely gave phone calls to all SELECTED parents for 2nd in.   

So, be patient.   If you really feel uncertain or worry, try to phone cky to ask more details la~

I don't have EXACT answer.  But as per my friend told me that she has received the call for the 2nd in on 8 Dec, so...

I think you can try to call cky to ask more details and see if they can help you.

However, as per my observation yesterday (during 2nd in), most staff of cky were busy in arranging the 2nd in, so they may have no time to reply you immediately.

Dear holywood,

As a CKY parent for so many years, I don't feel the school are of PLK noble's toy. Indeed, you should know many of the PLK noble would rather sent their kids to traditional elite school to show their class. The arrangement for CKY's interview actually improve a lot in comparsion to the past.

For all parents attending 2nd interview, just relax since school are just screening out those use the school as backup and eliminating the misunderstanding between parent and school in view of the training method (change school at  later stage would led to suffer to the kids). Please Please also bear in mind the learning in CKY is not just let the kids go any direction they like but rather you need to keep very close eye on the usage of their spare time (reading reading reading). You better prepare your home just as a mini-lib. and encouraging your kids to read different type/topic books at different stage.

Hi father_ho,

I also got similar advice fr my friend whose daugther is now studying in cky that if my boy luckily get into cky, then we have prepare ourselve to train up our son to READ READ and READ by himself at anytime anywhere.

On surface, cky has no test, no exam, no quiz..etc, but they rather request students to do assignments in schools, to do projects at home by themselves, to make presentation (including the script writing) in front of class and teachers and most important is to encourage students to read variety of books by themselves to widen their knowledge.

So, it is rather "difficult" coz cky not like the other traditional schools that having "standard text books", but just use READING as a teaching tool.


To certain extend, I buy their concept coz it really train up childern to "learn" by themselve instead of "being told" by teachers.

Hi there...

Don't be panic and don't put much pressure on your kid.  Actually, it conducted in rather leisure way.  As decribed by my son, he even though didn't know what the picture drawing, but he seems quite happy for this 2nd in.

So just keep relax and let the kid presents whatever he/she likes in front of headteacher.  As I know, cky prefer to recruit childern with potential TALENTS and 腦袋i轉數快 instead of choosing those with 死記, 死背.

Noticed that someone received call which will have interview on 8th, but what about 1, 3, 4, 6, 7th. Did anyone receiv call and to have interview in the above date?  Please share.

I don't know, I want to know as well. As my son was studied in CKY P2 this year. I am still waiting the call.

Dear all,

What I know three years ago is they add 10 marks if the child did have brother/sister already studing in CKY. Another 5 or 10 marks for child is from PLK's K3 (100 marks total). The remaining is the score of kid performance themself during 1st interview. For 2nd interview, I didn't know how they perform the selection.
