DBSPD I wish my Kit could. ur kit had any other DDS
interview...  like.....
PLK Tan Siu Lin School. My Kit luckily can try 2 nd round
interview.

仔仔暫時都冇進行學科上的補習, 只是學音樂畫畫, 加運動. 據了解, 唔少同學都冇補習,而有補習的多數是英文.

2nd 時, 多數是考思維同創意, 選擇用邊種語言應不太重要. 家長介紹時, 應用簡單,清楚的語言說出小朋友的性格特點,愛好,優勢和家長的期望(好似只得1-2分鐘,有人計時).

Hi, just to share some experience .

Each family is given one minute, they have a timer there. you can choose to answer in English or Chinese, doesn't matter. you or your husband can start. last year, my husband talked the whole time, I just smiled . but i heard that sometimes, they may switch to ask the other one, so i think you need to prepare together.

also, seems that this year's first round is quite different from last year's ways, so  i think they might have new things at the 2nd interview too. but, don't worry, i think they are quite reasonable, not asking a lot from the kids.

last year, my son was given a picture to describe, something on camping or picnic. not too many questions asked. i think they aim to see how you respond and think, not asking how much you know.

also, just some tips.

no need to arrive too early, they are quite on time. just be sure to get there 10-15 minutes earlier is good enough.

the arrangement for the 2nd interview is also much better than the long queues waiting like the 1st one. just relax. it is also better as you can stay with your kid all along during the waiting time and into the interview room.

If so, your boy is now studying in DBSPD?  Wa....I think your boy must be billiant.

I just phoned DBSPD wishing to ask them when they will distribute the letters to notify parents abt 2nd interview's schedule.  The staff just said that she didn't know and then dropped down the phone.

So surprising how would DBS deploy staff in such rude and bad manner???!!!  Such staff really made me angry :evil: and wonder how such staff representing school to answer enquiry calls

要成為一間好學校, 校長除了要顧及老師的質素外, 其他校內的工作人員, 如書記等亦要有禮貌, 但往往校長不是不管或是不理, 書記往往態度很差, 希望dbs校長要正視.

Don't get so angry lah.

Usually, the office staff are ok, I guess there are so manycalls enquiring that they cannot cope. I had the same experience last year when I called them , but after this time of the year, they "return to normal" and get ok wor.

my boy is a small boy, and studying there now, and he enjoys school very much.

if there are more information/circulars on the next round, would sure come up to share.

In DBSPS, Seems like most junior staff do not have good manner. E.g. they will ORDER the parents to sit tight with each other.
