Today I went to this kinder's open day.....but really disappointed. The school environment is not really attractive....the classroom is quite small and not really colorful and not many toys / books there....also this is a local cantonese teaching kinder, I am not sure the english standard is it high enough to apply famous primary schools....

since the tuition is $3xxx i think it should offer more....

浸會幼稚園環境感覺冷冷,聽老師說k1便要學寫字

筆也未曾拿好便要寫字,又無課本,只是大學自定課程,怕未能接其他小學,學費高3xxx,無學卷:tongue: 一定要乘校車,因離火車站遠,要乘的士,小巴只有一部,15分鐘一班,往法國醫院附近,如果小朋友有突發事要往學校,會因交通不方便心急死

不過我也交了申請表,當面試實習

我是k1家長,我嘗試講講吧!
1.課室細,無吸引力 - 就以幼班課室為例,已不算小.開學日一定最多人,它也可以容納5位老師+1位姐姐+28位學生+(每位學生由2名家長陪同)56人=90人.都有空間擺上堂要用的枱椅.不覺得迫.可能你看的班房不是我講的一樣吧.顏色不夠吸引,都同意.不竟都只是開學1星期吧.簡潔不是太差吧!

2.玩具圖書不夠多 - 我相信不只你看到的.有很多收埋在大柜內.

3.英文程度 - 若要报名校,這裏未必幫到你令孩子有良好的英語水平,但主動學習,有自信心,必定可以做到,因這些才可終生受用.

4.K1寫字 - 我想你聽錯,他們只會做寫字前的預備,即晝線,填色,做粉團....

5.自定課程 - 我對學校有信心,因這是一所真的由學生出發的幼稚園.在家長方面,學校亦會有很多免費講座比家長.上次我聽嗰個兒童情緒講座真是好笑,不覺悶.

6.校舍遠 - 我都有同感,但選得它就預咗.

7.學費貴,不能用學卷 - 學費已包什費,又無書無校服,所以我覺得可接受.至於用不到學券是學校政冊.

8.面試 - 見你們的考核人員不是泛泛之流,記得見我的是一位約30歲左右的博士呢.

I didn't attend the open day, but my husband very like this school after visiting, especially her teaching method. I
think she is quite suitable for my active daughter!

if my son is not so active, is it suitable for a traditional school or this one ?

K1 no need to learn writing, only draw lines and curves, do some activities to train "small muscles"!

If I were you, I must apply this school because she promote to bulit up the confidence of the child!
By the way, my daughter is so active, I'm not sure which teaching method is suit for her, maybe traditional teaching method to train her discipline or 活動教學 to let her has happy school life!

我同妳一樣, 我個囝太active, 仲一日唔停咀. 我都struggle緊同佢報咩學校. 浸幼我都考慮緊. 不果間學校的location真係有d麻煩. 另唔知佢有無一條龍直上小學呢?
