Island school or KGV?

My daughter is about to apply for year 7.  We have a choice between island school or KGV, but cannot decide yet.  Anybody having experience in both or one of these schools and give me some advice, please.

Island school 比 KGV 校風好好多. 小朋友都比較純(唔計家長)......而且 ESF 內既學校 Island school 數學最突出,成日得獎.

點解你有得選擇既??你住MTR Tung Chung 線沿線?我仔今年 Y7, 被逼 rezone 去左 Island school,無得揀.我最討厭係 school bus 既 stop, 係3號碼頭,出地鐵仲要行一段露天既路,打風落雨就慘啦

I agreed with emilymama's comment that Island School is stronger in math. Afterall, Island School is the only international school in HK that has won a local math competitions. (namely the Hong Kong Joint School Mathmetaics Competitions. )

I have been a student of Island School, and the coach for the math team for many years.

Thanks for your sharing.

I used to live in Tsing Yi, but I have just moved to a flat in Kowloon which is under the catchment area of KGV and I am still keeping my apartment in Tsing Yi.  

Do you think drug is a serious problem in Island School?  How's the language program in Island School cos I know students in KGV are allowed to pick two different languages starting from Y7?  Does Island School have Spanish in Y7?

I heard some case about the drugs in KGV, but never heard in Island school. I met some students in both school, I feel Island school's student are more innocent.

They have 2 languages choice from Y7, French or Chinese (mandarin). And then 2 languages choice in Y9, Spanish or Japanese.
