The interview divided into 2 parts, one is for the child and the other is for the parents.

For the child - the teacher will bring a group of 6-8 children to a room and ask them to sing and to draw a picture, the teacher will ask some questions when the child is drawing. It takes around 30 mins.

For the parents - it takes around 10 -15 mins in a seperate room upstairs.

Last year, they distributed application forms after the briefing session.

ICQM asked me almost the same questions as in the questionaire (which was distributed with the application form).

我個女有幸被取錄為08小一生，以佢所講面試內容如下﹕
老帥和她們一起唱歌，聽音樂畫畫，畫完寫名+寫字，玩遊戲中途會個別問問題，包括有處境題。
家長方面都係圍繞申請表的內容，對學校的認識，對孩子培育及管教方法，孩子的性格優點與缺點，如何處理孩子情緒上的問題等~~

以我所取錄的朋友中都有幾位是無音樂底，反而有2位有音樂底卻無收，所以不用太擔心，相信學校係一套收生準則。

簡介會聽到校長話唔一定要係基督徒，但一定要認同學校的理念。
學校仲表示有心想教你的小朋友12年，所以不會參與升中派位。

My daughter has been offered admission to ICQM in September 2008.  We are not Christians but our little princess has learned music for two years.  She's been taking individual piano lessons for 8 months.

I agree that the School tends to select children with good sense of music.  Don't worry!
