怎樣分八級以上的級數？什麼是演奏級、ATCL、LTCL、 DipABRSM？

There're two different Music Exam Board.
Trinity and ABRSM.
The grading after Grade 8 is

Trinity: ATCL, LTCL, FTCL
ABRSM: DipABRSM, LRSM, FRSM

Honestly,

The ABRSM and Trinity is two system board.
And people treat the ABRSM is much more difficult because of the following reason:

1) You have to Pass in 2 sectons to get a Full pass in ABRSM, but Trinity just require you've got marks 50 or above.

2)  It seems more difficult to get a Dipabrsm as the passing rate is low.

3)  ABRSM is more popular to HK parents and students

不過, 這不等於 trinity 的exam是次一等, 只是要求不同, 而且, 近年的要求亦收緊了, trinity只是沒有了對答的環節, 及比較多不同種類的exam.

The repertoire is not very important, 來來去去都係過d, 只是大家把等級看得太重, 而且, ltcl既歌有時係dipabrsm既歌, 但係dipabrsm既歌又未必可以拿去ltcl......

dipabrsm 同atcl 的時間是差不多, 只是, 如果學生的英語水平較高, 背譜能力較強, 我會提議dipabrsm, 但如果相反, atcl或訐會較合適.

-          First Concert Certificate
-          Performer’s Certificate

之後會分四個考試科目：

Trinity 的 First Concert Certificate 是五級之後的級數, 可以是考完五級之後, 考六級之前考, 但考o既人相對較少。
