my 2 kids is studying in Kln Tong Think and my son will be a primary student this year, which branch u're planning to go, maybe i can let u some comments as different branch have different teaching method and school fee ah

maybe i know who are u ah as my girl is studying in the same class with ur girl !!!!!! personal speaking, i don't think Victoria is better than Think as my son was studied before. maybe u can call me and i'll let u more details about this 2 schools as i think it's not convenience to discuss it too open, right......

hi, diamondhill,

i can tell u Think (Kln Tong) is a good school if you want ur kids to learn a good english & mandarin, but u also need to consider that there writing especially chinese words just soso........the english teacher in TIS are all native and the chinese teacher are all mandarin based. the turnover rate of teacher is super low. all new teacher in TIS must trained in other branch in order to sure that they're qualifed as the school would like to promote the kln tong branch. the teaching method is different to other branch. it's only 1 class in LN, K1, K2 and 2 class in K3 which they'll not divided to bilingual or int'l, maybe i can clear to say that it's only int'l class in kln tong campus seems they'll only have 1 hour for mandarin and all the time is holded by english teacher. and it's a small class for LN : 12 students; UN & K2: 18 students, K3 : 18 students.........if u want to know more, pls pm me

if u planned the kid to go to IS, it's good to choice Think as the student in TIS is pretty high, surely, the main language in TIS thru the students is english then mandanrin

teacher there ?  Why you said their chinese writing just soso ?

Per your previous info, full day class will have 1 hour
English lesson in morning while the rest hours are
chinese. Do you mean PHT ?  Whole afternoon will be
English.  So I think their English is really strong.  

Your kid studied Victoria before, can you also share with me more ?  Because we got the K1 offer in HMT campus.
But many people said they are very commercial.  What do you think ?

for clarify, there are only max. 18 students for LN,UN, reception & preparation (2 class), 2 class teachers in each class - 1 native english teacher & 1 manadarin teachers except LN class (LN class only will take 1 hour english time per day) the english teacher will hold the class even if half or whole day, it's only 1 hour for mandarin, the rest of time is holding by english teacher.......... as a int'l school, TIS's teaching method is not suggested to push the kids to write, so if u looking for very strong homework and writing, TIS is not a good choice

for victoria, u're right, very very commerical school just like 迦南

Any one can share the comments about TIS in Ma On Shan.   I want my son to know more Chinese.   So, I will not join Internation classe and will the traditional class.  So, I can still change my mind if I want him to study traditional priminary school.
