Is the test at 越己堂做測試 (Wechsler Preschool and Primary Scale of Intelligence) worth?  Or should I wait till say 5 yrs? Some said that too early testing may not tell the real picture.

The test at 越己堂 costs $3600. But I don't know the different between this preschool test and the original one. You can call them for advice.

I think 越己堂 may recommend you to do the WISC(for pre-schooler) because it's introduced to HK by them. But actually it is not common and no data base in HK. I'm afraid the recognition of itself may not be as high as WISC though 越己堂 claims that it's "the junior verison" of WISC. What I know is the Education Dept. accepts WISC ,not sure about WPISC. Don't know whether both can be treated as the same or not?


For the readings, a lot of resourses in public libraries, you can go there for a look. Gifted child more or less has emotional disturbance/needs,you can find the books which focus on those issues.

台灣的資優教育比香港發展較早, 蔡典謨博士的"協助孩子出類拔萃"一書, [心理出版社], 藉得一看.  蔡教授是資優教育博士.
