I find an article about PC:-

I'm particular interested in the following description on PC's english. PC is 中中, is that they also use english books in some subjects and have NET.

1. "香港培正中學繼續秉承這傳統，數學、電腦、化學及物理各科均採用英文教科書，老師則以母語教授。"

2. "培正是教會學校，歷年來都有經驗豐富的外籍教師教授英語"

Anyone know if the information on the article is still valid.

I was graduated in 1986.  Yes, we use English textbooks in Maths, Physics, Chemistry.......etc.  But the teachers taught us in Cantonese....I know it's funny, but it's a long long time since I graduated, I'm not sure about the current situation.

培正中一至中三，除了英文科，其他全用中文書。到中四(理科)，學生可選英或中教科書、考試亦可選中或英答。

1. 培正中學的硬件十份好，校長很努力辦學，校風也很純樸，學生普遍對學校也有歸屬感；

2. 讀書風氣方面，精英班和普通班存在著很大的差異。這也是來年學校試行取消精英班的其中一個主要原因；

3. 傳統以來，培正中學理科班的會考成績和學習風氣較文科班好，在高中也只有理科科目才會用英文教科書，一直以來入理科班的競爭也很大，所以數理強的學生入讀培正中學會有優勢。不過隨著三三四學制的推行，這點可能會有所轉變也未定；

4. 培正中學近年的公開考試成績普遍來說並不十分突出 (當然也會有個別「特優」的例子)，即使是會考只有十多分的學生也能在原校升讀中六。
