Dear qq dad,
About the ice skating competition, I am very encouraged with my daughter's participation.
My daughter is Logos 08'F1 student.
About 6 yr old, 2 months later.
She has studied 3 years.
Last 2 weeks, she had hesitation about the competitions.
She was stressed a lot,
even cried
when I mentioned about the competition.
It's not until last week,
she finished the final rehearsal &
she summoned up all her brave & strength to take part
her solo, free style on Friday & technique on sat morning.
It was also my relief when the competition was off.
We went striaght to HK Disney to celebrate on Sat pm.
To both my daughter & I, we learn a lot - not to give up
easily.
Fully understand your feeling.
It’s really a learning PROCESS for both parents and the kid. To me, the PROCESS is more than the result as the later one will be determined by many factors.
Ha ha, congratulation to your daughter to overcome it.

Thanks, qq dad.
Tonight, my maid told me:
She asked my daughter today, why she become more
patient & well behaved recently.
(I worked late often.
Usually, I shall be awakened next morning
by her screaming, complaining this & that. )
"Is it because you go to EQ lessons?"
"Is it because you go ABC xxx & are told to be good?"
Her answer is:
"I took part in the ice-skating competition.
I learnt to be tough!
I went through a lot!"
