Hi everyone,

Let me report what I saw this morning la!  I arrived KM around 11am.  When I went into classroom, they were eating snacks already.  There are 3 tables in the classroom, around 24 students, Miss Liu, Miss Leung and Madam Bo.  It is quite crowded inside, I think there were only 2 tables there before when I went to KM last Sept.

The children then sang the birthday song for Janice.  It really took me quite a while to cut the cake as there are so many children.  Most of them are ok and eat by themselves, but 2 of them cried.  

When they are eating cakes, I started taking photos with them.

Bignose, Ansel talked to me quite a while ar!
Naoki gave me a big smile whenever I took photos for him!
Jade is so pretty with her dress, while Kit Kit looks very smart in his blue hat!
Tanny, I feed Ian birthday cake ar, and he just sat beside Janice and Jamie. He liked the cake and ate quite a lot.
謙謙 is very shy and sit quietly.
Saramama, Sara isn't very happy today.  Can't see smile in her face ar?

After they finished eating the cake, all the children went to the corner to read books, but Sara just kept standing in the corner and didn't sit down.

Then Miss Liu asked me to read a story to them, so I became a teacher and told a story ar!  The story is regarding a flying monkey, you can try to ask your child what I told them la!  See who can remember what I said.  Then Miss Liu told me that I can leave earlier at 11:50am with Janice, so I don't have a chance to ask her more regarding the summer course.

BTW, I will ask my maid to give you the photos tomorrow at the phonics class. Or please check your children's school bag next monday.

Hi bignose,

Janice doesn't have much response wow!  She wanted to leave school after eating the cake.

Ansel just sat and didn't eat much cake.  Then I asked him why he didn't eat ar. Then I feed him and he ate law!  Miss Liu then told me that Ansel didn't eat much at school.

When I told the monkey story, Ansel and Naoki both have response when I asked what animals are in the picture.

Sara left home this morning with an happy face and wave bye to me saying 媽咪,我番學啦, bye bye.

I guess she looks not so happy because she was keep thinking about today also her birthday, she wanna blow the candle too.  唔理邊個生日, sara都話係自已生日, 要blow the candle. I think she may standing at the corner and waiting for her turn.

My mother said Sara seems took so much cake at school as she refused to  take lunch today.

Hi hi,

Sara and Naoki both ate cake this morning in addition to their snacks.  I also bring them some Hello kitty candy.  Miss Liu gave each children some chips to eat.

I took some photos when they were eating cakes, I will let my maid give them to you tomorrow as I won't go pick up Janice at phonics class.

Hi 心心,

Actually Miss Liu just let me and Janice cut the cake on a small table in the corner, so many children actually can't see what the cake look like.  The cake is a Maxim's mixed fruit cake only.  If they see the Thomas on the cake, I think they will eat even more.

I suddenly remember what ansel asked me.
Ansel: Why there is milk in the cake?
jc_mom: That isn't milk, that is cream.
Ansel: There is milk in the cake.
jc_mom: Why you didn't eat ar? Do you want me to feed you?
(Then I feed him the cake and he eat law!) Ansel need a push! Then he ate the second mouthful of cake again.

It really sounds like a wonderful day for you.  I went to pick up Daniel this afternoon but as you left earlier than 12:00, I didn't get a chance to meet you.

d小朋友係知邊個生日架,老師話佢經常會提及,到正日生日都會叫小朋友sing happy birthday,來個mini celebration.

My comments about Shek O are exactly the same as yours.  Everything is good except the very limited parking spaces. As for Stanley,真慚愧,同隻衰老拍拖時去過之外,近年去親都係食野,gathering 去beach, good idea!

今日好開心呀! Daniel在認字比賽被選中代表C班出戰其他班,老師話每班琴日先舉行初賽,選2個代表,真無諗過會選中Daniel,我琴日問過佢架:-
我:老師叫你認字,你識唔識呀?
D:識
我:老師話邊2個小朋友識最多?
D:我囉!
我:Really?  So who is the other one?
D : 端端
(N.B. 端端 is his best friend, his girlfriend, his darling...)

Yes, I am proud of him.  But I don't think Daniel is really 好叻仔.  As soon as he started going to KM, he had developed a special interest in learning Chinese characters.  I really want to say thanks to Ms. Lai & Ms. Wong of KM.

Hi danielboy,

I am not surprised ar! Daniel is smart, that's why he is selected to represent the class.  This is only a beginning, there will be more and more competition for him in the future.

I feel so tired though only staying KM for an hour ar!  This is the first time I told a story in front of so many children, and Miss Liu said all of them listened to me ar! hehe!

Shame on me, I am so lazy and didn't tell Janice and story before, though I bought her a lot of story books.  :cry:  :cry:

If I were you, I would be much worse.  I am a poor story teller.  On Wednesday night, I was so tired that I slept in Daniel's bed before I finished the story.  He tried to wake me up a few times.  I opened my eyes but my brain was not functioning.  All I could hear was " Wake up mom, wake up!"

Guess what?  Daniel said the representative of N1BA was Janice.  He really said so.

Thanks for your compliment.  Anyway, Daniel is very happy himself because he won a very nice puzzle from the competition.  I also bought him a Thomas book as his prize.

Hi danielboy,

I don't think so ar!  Janice doesn't know much chinese. Miss Liu told me that Janice's english is much better than her chinese, so I don't think they will select her as the representative if the competition is for chinese character.

Since my maid also went to KM with me this morning, so Janice ignore me and only stick with her.  That's why I can walk around, chat with Ansel, Sara, Jade, Naoki & Ian
