Hi dcca,
Don't worry! My girl is in DS_1 also.  The school is going to split the classes according to the children's level. There will be 2 elite classes, 3 regular classes and 2 classes to help those "slightly under performed". I was informed of this arrangement by the homeroom teacher during the 2nd Parents' Day in the previous school year. The standard is based on the children's English results in the assessment. Please contact the school or the homeroom teacher if you have any queries.

My girl is FS1 this year, I have sent her to the school today.. just wanna share my feelings... which is super happy, both my girl and me.  I was kinda worried if she would not wake up on time, or would cry in the school and dont let me go... turned out... I have worried too much.  She woke up at 6am, got dress up (all by herself) so efficienctly.  And when we arrived to the school... she pushed me to leave la.. sigh~~ in no more than 2 minutes, she was already so talkative with her classmates.  I stayed for a while to see how the other students are like in the school... and seeing the kids (especially FS2 I guess) singing out lound responding out loud to the teacher... they all seem very happy.
Now I am released, I have found the right school for my girl.

It's the 1st day of the new school calendar year in HK for most schools. Our schoolbus was 15 mins. late also.  It will be another 2 weeks before the schedule runs normal.  Shall see.

Ours school bus was also late for 15 minutes this morning.  They are always late during the first week in September as our bus has to pick up and drop off students of another school in the early morning before picking our Logos students up.  Their excuse is that they could not estimate the exact time of arrival at each stop when September starts.  But they should at least send our kids to school on time!!  They only reached the school at 8:20 a.m. today and barely caught up with the class rearrangement.
