I've registered yesterday la.  Actually you can go to do the registration anytime gar.  My husband is off yesterday, so he went earlier to do the registration.

Actually my husband and myself have been quite struggling on choosing btw Victoria HMT, Yew Chung and Keen Mind.

As all 3 of them offered my daughter a place, but after reading all the negative comment on Victoria HMT, and considering Yew Chung's expensive school fee, we picked keen mind at last.

I just feel that it isn't justified to pay more than $4000 a month for PN class, no matter the family can afford that or not.

hm... i think in the PN class there shouldn't be big difference between each kindies...

perhaps when they've entered to K1 class and onwards, we can see the difference.

Students in keen mind can enter to good schools, too... let's give keen mind some faith !

All KM mums, hello!  

I registered for my son today but found out that there is no school bus running between our home and the school.  

Any advice?  Any other alternatives, please?  I could ask my maid to take my son to school by MTR, but it is still quite a bit of walk to school from the station ....

i still haven't checked with KM yet to see if there is a route btw our home and the school tim.  where do you live btw ?

I live in Jordan.  Mr Lee (the gentleman in charge of school buses) told me that the school buses do not go to my home.  The buses only go past The Waterfront, Sorrento ... etc. but do not go past my home which is near Jordan Road/Austin Road.

Yes, it's quite a bit of walk from the Kowloon Tong MTR station.  There is absolutely no shelter and would be harsh for both your maid and your child on rainy days.  Do you know any buses which run along Boundary Street?  Keen Mind is only 3 minutes walk from the bus stops in Boundary Street.  Are Nos. 1/1A buses anywhere near your home?  I know these buses stop in front of the Esso Gas Station which is just around the corner of Boundary Street and Cumberland Road.  They also have stops in Yamatei/Jordan (near the Kowloon Central Post Office or 文明里)

I did not know that Buses 1/1A have a stop near the school, that would be very convenient for us then (cos' it is not too far to walk from our home to Buses 1/1A in Jordan).  Thank you!

Actually, I have just found out today that there is a mini-van which can pick my son up just right outside of our building.  Thanks for your very useful info anyway!!!

Good to know you have finally found your way to school.  Hope your son will enjoy his school life in KM as much as my son did for the past year.

Yes, MTR is too far away. We walk from MTR to KM last Sat. It taked 30 min. It is impossible to doing so.   
We will try to take mini bus  which can stop near to the oil station.
