論學大提琴

我對一些經改良的配件沒太多研究，見過別人在用，有讚有彈。我的想法是：
1. 4/4 大提琴不要用改良peg, 因為好琴的其中一個原素是調音便利。如果調音不良，full size 琴應拿去維修。
2. 現時是秋初冬至，大提琴的變化很大，不妨多等一兩個月看看你的1/2調音是否仍然有問題再作打算

又一位中國製琴師在意大利製琴比賽中拿了大提琴的金獎, awesome所以不要說國內沒好琴, 比較普遍的事實是:

1. 我們用了很平的價錢買了一些很差的國產琴
2. 有人用了中高檔的價錢賣了低下檔的國產琴給我們

想問大家, 有那些特質的小朋友適合學大提琴, 我想為我女選一樣合適的樂器(String / Woodwind instrutment only)

（ＰＳ不用為報學校及考級）

我女是這樣的, 她可以嗎?

Physical
-她現6 yrs old, 她手及身高比同年的人算大,

Musical
-學開PIANO, 看譜,拍子是OK的（我本人有彈ＰＩＡＮＯ十多年，由我的觀察，我學得我女這些快上手）

Ear
-Ok, but not perfect pitch

Personality
-算有耐性，可日日practice PIANO 30mins - 1 hr (不過是我隌她，不隌她只是１５mins to 20 mins everday)

我有想過其他，如violin, viola and other types of woodwinds，大提琴暫時我覺得可考慮

Thx for your advice. I am searching a life long instrutment that can accompany my daugther. So my focus is the one that suits her most. So that she can play well and she can enjoy.

單就身型已是適合、重要的是她喜歡!既然你也有讓她學大提琴這個意思、那就好好推動她。
你自己有音樂根底、當明白老師的重要, 好好為囡囡選擇和安排、這將是最重要的一點!!

我沒有很用心去給她看完不同的樂器,才讓她選.. 另我覺得有時D 小朋友今天說愛這件樂器, 第二天會變心, 所以我覺得她們 的"愛好"不可以盡信.

現在她對大提琴的看法是中性的,

只是大提琴比較難起步(相對鋼琴), 也難找老師,所以我想確定她是合適, 我才"言裹" 她試.

另也知好老師難有, 如她想/也合適學大提琴, my preliminary idea 是在initial stage,在家附近找老師 (因大提琴都幾重)



If woodwinds is not suitable for her age. i will wait until mature time to reconsider. And at that time, she may tell me whether she likes woodwinds or not.

所以說我們做家長的好好或明或暗推孩子去那位置!
當然是試不了這麼多、將來怎轉還看將來的際遇!
對我來說從小老師就是最大的關注、
那樣樂器跟著理想的老師自然偏重!
哈哈、帶琴都是從家長開始。

Thx again for your reminder. Sorry that my chinese typing is a bit slow and i dun know the computer input for quite no of chinese words. So i turn to English typing.

for Good teacher, may he/she be good at technical skill/ musical knowledge. or he/she can inspire the kids to learn. or the one who has good network in providing many chances of performance / competitions for the kids.

i plan that once i identify the suitable instrument and confirm her interest in it, i will source a suitable teacher having considered the character of my daugther.

Of course the fee and distance fr home are other major concerns.


I just know a little bit about piano and i dun know many musical things. Hope i can still assist my daugther to built up her musical interest.

好好倍伴著孩子, 包括上課!
老師的功力當然關注、只要孩子做好,機會總會伴著左右!
哈哈!作為家長、$當然是另一大關注、還有時間的分配,
去到一些位置自然要分主次。
我對音樂從開始就是不懂,只是倍伴著孩子一路走來!

如果學大提琴只是想小朋友有 2nd instrument, 那就真的不用急, 到了真係想學時才學罷, 期間加多一點接觸就可以, 身邊如果有其他小朋友是拉大琴的, 不妨借琴來試試。祝學琴進步。

Yes. need to balance many things, amongst academic side at school, eca, moral training, sufficient free time, etc. Still work hard to strike the balance of kids' life.

I hope the string / woodwind instrutment is her 1st instrutment and piano is the 2nd.

Side track a bit. Actually,  if i hv time, i want to take violin / cello / flute myself .

I think it would be great for the child if she masters a string as well as a woodwind instrument.

is it becoz both of them are instruments in orchestra?

I personally play both a string instrument and a woodwind instrument.

Strings players are generally more sensitive to pitch I think. So it's good for training the ear. Wind instrument is very different and use quite different physical skills. They complement each other.

Thx. coz i only play piano. i hvn't  thought about this combination i.e. woodwinds n string. learn more fr bk now.

Agreed with u. Wind needs physical skill. I always wonder why my relative is offered an Apa junior seat because the relative doesn't really like a music lover to me. But once the relative competes with another kid who is long winded, my relative make the noiSE 3 times louder and 3 times longer than the others. I then know physical characters really mean something.

Yes.. wind players really need stamina, and embouchure. And of course brass players too.. haha.
